Ghost Hunting In An Abandoned Hotel...

Ойын-сауық

Jack Manifold & Tubbo travel to the Black Forest, in Germany, for the most terrifying experience of their lives! Ghost Hunting ALONE...
After Ghost Hunting with Sam & Colby, I've began to believe that Ghosts, the paranormal and maybe even DEMONS are real, so I wanted to go and prove it to myself by ghost hunting on my own terms and it was one of the most scary & horrific things I've ever done.

I'm pretty heavily invested in the paranormal (been researching for about 8 years now) and I don't know if you guys will see this comment but I just wanna share some advice and information that I've learned over the years. So first of all, one reason why you guys may not have gotten many answers is because you didn't really take the time to properly introduce yourselves to the spirits. Most spirits will generally find it rude if you just barge in and start asking questions without even introducing yourselves first. Especially if you're dealing with spirits from an older time period. Before you ask anything, you should always start off with something like "Hello, my name is Jack, I'm here with my friend Tubbo. Today we're going to be asking you some questions, you can answer us through the spirit box if you'd like." Basically, you should always try to be as polite as possible with the spirits if you wanna get the best responses. If you piss off or offend a spirit (even on accident), you're most likely going to get ignored. If you think you may have offended them, you can try to apologize. Don't go over the top, just a simple but sincere apology. Something like "I'm truly sorry if my friend and I have offended you in any way." No funny business, keep it serious or else they won't think you're being genuine. Next thing I wanted to warn you guys about is demons. Demons are far more dangerous than your average spirit, as I'm sure you both know. If you think you're dealing with a demon, honestly your best bet would be to leave immediately. But I know you guys won't do that because of the content lol, so instead I'll tell you this: Demons feed off of negative energy. Feelings like fear, sadness, anger, lust. Any other sort of negative/sinful thoughts as well. So if you're dealing with a demon, be as confident as you possibly can be and try to keep your thoughts light. This is the best way to maintain power over them. If you feel at all like you're in danger though, you should leave and cleanse yourselves right away. Content be damned. Another thing that feels important to mention... if a spirit tells you to get out, you should always listen. There's a chance they could be just messing with you, but it's not worth the risk of pissing them off. Remember, always be respectful if you want the spirits to respect you. Demons don't respect anything though, so if a demon is telling you to get out... good luck with that lol. May you guys be safe and protected from any harm. As long as you get out and cleanse properly, you should be fine. And one more thing, if a spirit makes any sort of physical contact with you... whether it be scratching, grabbing, tapping you... anything of the sort, make it clear that YOU have power over them and that they are not allowed to touch you without your consent. You wanna make sure to assert that dominance or else it could lead to attachments. Never EVER let a spirit feel like they have control over you, even if it's the nicest spirit in the world. Attachments are no joke. If you want a spirit to physically interact with you, it should always be on your terms and only with your explicit permission. And make it clear that they are only allowed to touch you at that moment, not any other. For good measure, you'll also want to remind them that they cannot attach themselves to you or follow you in any way and that you are far stronger than they are. You have the power, not them. That's pretty much all I wanted to say. I hope this helps you guys!! And helps anyone else who is looking to get into the world of the paranormal as well.

@@wiisteriiaa I'm glad you asked actually. Gives me an excuse to share my ghost stories lol. I've believed in the paranormal for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a real life haunted house. Been having encounters with spirits my whole life. Wasn't until 8 years ago though that I actually decided to start doing a deep dive on it all. But anyways, back to the ghost stories. As a child, I would often see figures. My parents thought I was crazy for a good while lol. The most common figure I'd see was a tall, dark man with a top hat who would always just stop and stare at me, then disappear after a few seconds. Another figure I would see on occasion was the figure of a woman. She had reddish hair and fair skin and was always wearing a white dress. I remember that she looked very sad all the time. There was one other figure I would see, but it only ever appeared a few times. That last figure was a non-human looking creature. I barely even remember it now, but I know for a fact that it had red eyes and its body was just completely black. The other figures (the man and the woman) I could see at any time of the day. However, the non-human figure I only ever saw at night. And only a few times did I see it. Besides the figures though, I've had countless other experiences with spirits as well. I always tried to keep my bedroom pretty tidy and was super specific about where I'd put things. Sometimes, I would wake up in the morning and things would be in the wrong spot on my dresser or my desk and I'd know for a fact that I didn't leave it like that. My parents also had experiences like this but they'd usually just brush it off. Another thing is- I'd hear whispers sometimes. I would usually hear my name being whispered. Sometimes the whispers were just incoherent though. Other things I'd hear were "hi/hello" "help me" and one time I'm pretty sure I heard my mom's name. The biggest paranormal event I've ever been a part of took place 5 years ago. I had just gotten home from school and sat at my desk to look at my homework. All of a sudden, one of my figurines FLEW off my dresser and hit me on the leg. And when I say it flew off, I mean it. It came at me with FORCE, I ended up with a small bruise where it hit me. I was absolutely terrified. Bolted out of my room to tell my mom what happened and she actually listened to me, shockingly enough. She convinced my dad to call the pastor and we had our house cleansed. I don't know if they really truly believed in it though, I mostly think they just did it to ease my mind lol. Nowadays, I've done a few paranormal investigations myself. I'd like to think that I'm very in tune with the paranormal. I've had lots of positive (as well as negative) interactions with spirits. I will say I don't see figures anymore though. But I've heard whispers during investigations, I've been touched, I've heard footsteps, knocks, bangs... you name it lol. I don't even use any fancy equipment besides a spirit box and I can confidently say that I've had plenty of spirit interactions. Anyways, didn't mean to ramble again lol. Sorry for the long comment. I'm just a huge nerd about this stuff. You may not even believe me still, and that's okay, it's your own opinion. Just wanted to share my story :)

@@an_artful_gamer6972I practically believe in the paranormal and it seems interesting. Do you know if there are any reputable cases of people actually being dangerously injured by the paranormal. Also I used to think everything paranormal was fake but recently started watching some content about it, including by people I trust and am starting to have some belief. Spirit boxes seem to often have some work so do you have anything to add on that

You can tell how genuine this is. They didn’t physically see anything, and aside from the spirit box, the only thing they heard was at the very end, and even that could’ve been easily explained. There’s no disembodied heads in mirrors or dark shadows at the end of hallways. This is what a REAL ghost hunt looks like.

I genuinely don't know why most ghost hunting videos aren't like this. The magic of it is in the real reactions, the eerie atmosphere of an abandoned or empty place, the strange phenomena actually captured even if it's really sparse and rare. Why would I wanna watch a ghost hunting video where there's a jumpscare every 5 minutes? Where all evidence is faked for the view count? I prefer these type of videos ten times more.

Pentacles are actually used for both warding away evil and drawing it forward. It just depends on the way you use it and your intention, so technically both Jack and Tubbo were right.

  • @RexZzRaxZz

No, the symbol used for "drawing evil forward" is the sigil of Baphomet, the goat form of Satan. Without the goat head inside the pentacle it's only meaning is for protection. A few suggestions if youre gonna take this seriously: -while you might not be in-tune to the paranormal right now, you can learn over time. but be patient and dont go to really haunted locations as it might be too overwhelming. -trust your instincts more than your tools. spirits and entities can mess with your tools. -be respectful to the spirits and entities. this will save you a lot of potential trouble or miscommunication. -remind the spirits or entities that they aren't allowed to follow you home, attach itself to you or so on. YOU have the power over them. -also, seriously, dont take any souvineers like rocks or whatever. anyway i hope that helps a little - theres also plenty of haunted places back in the UK (it's a whole treasure trove!)

@@SalomSands What I've been taught (and therefore this is my sole take on this, and may not be the case for everyone!) is that it's not so much reminding the ghosts that you're stronger, but reminding /yourself/ that you're stronger, if that makes sense. If you believe in people (and spirits) having energies and all that, sheer force of will alone can be equally as protective to you as cleansing tools like sage, smoke and holy water. The idea is to take a moment to really focus on the intent to protect/cleanse yourself!

Ngl, I was overwhelmed at some point, but don't worry, it's the still healthy overwhelming (if that makes sense). Now I just hope neither of you guys are traumatised and that you're both alright after that, it was actually terrifying to watch, it must have been a thousandfold more frightening to live. As a witch, it frustrated me so much when people don't know the difference between a pentagram and a pentacle. So, Pentagrams are star symbols, with usually a pentagon around it connecting the points. It can be used to sumon things, although, it can be used to sumon mostly anything in the area. To sumon a specific thing, you'll need to know a sigil of it to sumon it. So, pentagrams can sumon demons, spirits, or anything that's just hanging about. Pentagrams on jewlery are for the most part safe. They can be used in rituals, but so can any jewlery. If anything will be summoned by it, odds are, it'll be small, because anything summoned by a pentagram, needs to... y'know, fit into the pentagram. So if you wanna talk to dead bugs with it, go ahead I guess? Pentacles, are star symbols with a circle around them. Sometimes multiple, either for aesthetic or extra protection. You can again, sumon anything in this, as long as it is able to fit into the space of the circle. If the circle surrounding it is broken, than whatever is inside the circle, it's no longer contained (that's why multiple circles is more protection). In jewlery, it is safe. Ghost bugs can hang out inside and stuff. But, pentacles are also a sign of money or fortune, and are commonly used in wealth rituals or spells. Once something is in a pentacle, its stuck there until either the circle breaks (bad) or it is banished (much better) I'm historically awful with my words, so if that doesn't make sense, let me know and I can try to clarify. But I hope this helps people understand the difference between pentagrams and pentacles.

Hey Jack the room that had the pentagram with 2 circles isnt for summoning demons. It is viewed as a symbol of life, love, light, unity, wholeness, and quest for divine knowledge. The Pentacle has always been associated with divine protective powers and was used for protection from the evil forces, demons, etc.

actually as another witch with interest in demonaltry, while the pentacle is inherently protective, the sigils surrounding the room are an indicator that it was used for summoning. In summoning, the pentacle is used to keep an entity contained within the space and you can draw forth any specific entity (in this case, demons) by using their sigil. multiple of the sigils around the space were that of demons. sorry im not great at like explaining but youre both half right

As a witch, I just wanna weigh in on a few things. The thing on the floor of that one room is a pentacle, not a pentagram lol. There's not much of a difference between pentacles and pentagrams mechanics-wise, but it's good to know that they're separate things. It's also a common misconception that they are used to summon demons. In witchcraft and occult, pentagrams and pentacles are actually protective symbols, and have a wide variety of uses in spells and rituals and such. It's common to wear a pentacle necklace for protection from unwanted energies. They aren't used to summon demons, though. Stepping inside of a pentacle really isn't as bad or dangerous as Sam and Colby are saying it is, although there is a slight risk of some of that residual energy from a past ritual sorta sticking to you if you do walk through it. When you should really be thinking about real demons is when you see a demonic sigil, but even then you really shouldn't be worried about it. "Demons" get a bad rap because of Christian influences. Sure, they can be dangerous if you treat them with disrespect, but the entities that are technically classified as "demons" are really just entities that are more powerful than an ordinary everyday spirit. I know a few witches that work with demons and they have had many positive experiences with them. Although a lot of demons aren't inherently negative, there are some that could also be classified as negative entities, so if you aren't already familiar with working with demons, probably use caution. When it comes to protecting yourself, sage and any sort of blessed water are good options, but if you find yourself lacking those, there are other ways. Meditation is a method that I use personally, but don't really see a lot of people talking about it. I would recommend looking into it. Amulets and charms are also a viable option, and you can either buy them from a practitioner or make them at home by yourself if you're willing to do the research.

From a Christian perspective, I don't necessarily believe in this stuff but I find it fun to to explore and see what others see and believe in. In my own opinion, I don't see the presences on Earth as demons, I see them as lost or misguided souls devoid of a body. I see demons as subordinate to the absolute power of evil, the evil will, embodied in Ahriman/Angra Manyu, and demons are or were fallen angels. Angels are the messengers of God, spiritual (as in they have a soul) creatures superior to human beings and often commissioned by God for work on earth. Demons get a bad rap from Christians because demons are pure evil. Angels get a good rap because Angels are pure love as is God. Most Christians are likely to say that spirits on Earth are Demons from hell but in reality Demons play more of a mental mind-game than a physical one, as you can also see in hell, they play mind-games as well as torture. I also think that hell isn't the giant fiery pit it once was, and that hell differs for everyone. I'll list some occurrences of "ghosts" or "spirits" in the Bible. In Matthew 28:19, "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost”. In Luke 24:37, "But they were startled and frightened and thought they saw a spirit". In Mark 6:49, "but when they saw him walking on the sea they thought it was a ghost, and cried out"/"but when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost.". The word translated as “ghost” in Matthew 14:26 is the Greek word phantasma, meaning illusion, phantom, specter, or most commonly, ghost. In Luke 24:37, the Greek word is pneuma, or wind, breath, or immaterial substance, much like a ghost. In the Gospel of Mark we’re told the disciples were overcome with fear after they saw Jesus walking on water, for “they thought he was a ghost” (Mark 6:49). And in Luke, after Jesus’s crucifixion, the disciples saw him and again thought him to be a ghost. But Jesus reassured them he was not, showing them his hands and feet and eating some broiled fish as proof of his full resurrection. In 1 Samuel 48, Saul consulted a medium, who brought forth the spirit of what Saul believed was the recently deceased prophet Samuel, to explain why God had left him. In Job 4, Job’s friend Eliphaz the Temanite described a frightening encounter he had in the middle of the night, when, “A spirit glided past my face, and the hair on my body stood on end. It stopped, but I could not tell what it was” (Job 4:15-16). And in Isaiah 29:4, the prophet Isaiah told the people of the city of Ariel they will be “brought low,” and their voice “will come ghostlike from the earth. So, yeah. Demons aren't ghosts. Angels aren't ghosts. There are legitimate verses/chapters that tell the story of spirits and ghosts being real. I don't personally think talking to them is a good idea due to the risk. My reasons? Deuteronomy 18:9-14, Revelation 21:8, Leviticus 20:6, Leviticus 19:31, Isaiah 8:19, Revelation 22:15, Romans 1:18-32, Isaiah 5:20, Hebrews 10:26-31, Deuteronomy 18:9, James 4:12, John 4:24, Deuteronomy 18:9-12, Matthew 25:46, Jeremiah 10:2-5, 2 Peter 2:15,2 Chronicles 33:6, Exodus 22:18, Acts 19:18-20, Deuteronomy 12:29-32, Leviticus 19:26, Deuteronomy 4:19, Jeremiah 7:18, 1 Samuel 15:23, Leviticus 20:27, Matthew 15:9, Jeremiah 32:35, John 4:23-24, John 4:16-21, Exodus 20:3, 2 Kings 17:17, Romans 8:7, Acts 19:19, Deuteronomy 12:1-32, Micah 5:12, Daniel 2:27, 1 John 5:3, Acts 8:9-13, Amos 2:7, Revelation 22:18-19, Revelation 9:21, Romans 1:25, Luke 12:32, Matthew 15:8-9, Ezekiel 8:14, 2 Kings 21:6, Exodus 20:7, Galatians 6:7, Galatians 5:19-21, Jeremiah 10:1-25, 1 Chronicles 10:13-14, 2 Kings 18:4, Leviticus 10:1-7, Revelation 18:23, 1 Peter 2:1-25, 1 Corinthians 15:3, Jeremiah 10:1-5, Isaiah 2:6, 1 Kings 12:26-33, Exodus 8:7, Revelation 12:9, Mark 7:9, Mark 7:8, Deuteronomy 18:10, Exodus 32:1-5, Exodus 20:16, James 3:10-13, Ephesians 2:12, Galatians 5:20, John 17:17, John 3:13, Mark 7:13, Matthew 19:16-18, Leviticus 10:3, Exodus 7:22, Revelation 18:4, Revelation 1:18, 1 John 4:4, Hebrews 6:4-8, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Thessalonians 2:9, Colossians 2:1-23, Galatians 6:12-13, Galatians 5:2, 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, Acts 14:12, Acts 14:8-18, John 5:29, Matthew 24:24, Matthew 12:40, Matthew 5:37, Isaiah 47:12, Isaiah 47:12-14, Revelation 1:1, 1 Thessalonians 5:21, Galatians 3:12, Acts 17:16-23, Acts 17:11, Acts 17:10-11 and Acts 16:16-18 Obviously every Christian would say this, but I think it'd be better if we didn't talk to them. I resect your advice of blessed water and that is all. Although I may not agree with some of the things you or anyone else does; I love everyone, and loving doesn't mean agreeing with life choices or lifestyle in general. Love you, fellow brother/sister.

You're totally right, I've been studying the occult/witchcraft for years now and that's all stuff I found out within the first month, so it somewhat frustrates me seeing so many paranormal investigations (something that is inherently occult in nature) where people aren't aware of any of this. The one rule of thumb as a witch is to never do something without the knowledge of what it is you're doing, and that reason is exactly why everyone is scared of the supernatural, and why it is dangerous at all. For me there is still that instinctual fear if something is powerful or has negative intentions, but when I have a new interaction I try to calm the spirit and invite them to spend time with the others that may be around me so they know that they aren't alone anymore. Still a great and entertaining video, and thanks for commenting about this so I didn't have to xD

@@abielairdgood job in trying to enlighten people, you're close but it's specifically white sage that is considered to be a closed practice, and even then the reason it is considered as such is because it was over-harvested due to all the people trying to use it, when the population of the plant it's made of increases again it should go back to being acceptable in the witch community. Other forms of sage are made of plants that aren't endangered and technically the word smudging is specifically for white sage so you are right on that one.

Next ghost hunting idea: Be one of first english youtuber to go ghost hunting in Latvia, for example, Karosta Naval Port Prison that was owned by the soviets that is located in Liepāja, or the most popular are the Jewish cemeteries and locals say that a strange feeling surrounds you once you visited, or Soviet military installations, as the westernmost land ruled by the Soviet Union (1940-1990), Latvia was heavily fortified, and these installations became obsolete after Soviet troops departed. The highlight is the entirely abandoned Skrunda-2 ghost town (once home to 5000), but other sights include the repurposed VIRAC radar near Ventspils (the surrounding buildings are abandoned) and a former nuclear war bunker for Soviet elite near Sigulda (now a paid attraction), or Rundāle Castle that is believed to be haunted by the Black Lady, who can be seen at certain hours of the evening and who regularly moves through several corridors (located: Pilsrundāle). It is also said that in a certain room of the Rundāle castle, an evil and cruel lord once had several servants who he did not like and who now haunt the castle after their death. Legend has it that you can verify the existence of ghosts in Liepāja, in the Karosta prison. It is said that several people died tragically in a cell there and since then strange phenomena have been observed. Jelgava Castle, which once served as the official residence of the Dukes of Kurzeme in Jelgava, is also known for its own ghost stories. It is estimated that Jelgava Castle is haunted by the so-called White Lady, who could possibly be one of the former empresses of the Russian Empire. A lot of choices, choose wisely if you will go. Edit: I was at Karosta prison as a school trip and somehow didn't experience any ghost activity, my guess is there was no ghost activity because there was too much people, maybe those are shy ghosts, but it is the most haunted place in Latvia.
