Just a bit of MTG lore, Kellan is the son of Oko, the whole storyline in wilds of eldraine, lost caverns of ixalan, murders at karlov manor and outlaws of thunder junction is that Kellan is looking for his father, which he finally does in OTJ.

@@mohammadobeid9526 yeah,there are comics and books I think, but I'm pretty sure you can find everything on the MTG wiki. Just take into account that most of the story is mostly divided into "blocks". The Kellan storyline is one block, (if I'm not wrong, we're moving into another one with Bloomborrow). This means that even though there's certainly a connection in the story, sometimes it can be pretty loose.

Thanks for the super creative daily uploads man. Im constantly browsing youtube for a good MTG video so it helps alot lol.

9:40 My understanding is that the sets between March of Machines and Thunder Junction were following Kellan (Oko's son)'s travels through a bunch of different planes. Hence they all have the Eldraine adventure mechanic.

Already curious about Miguel's take on one of the new lands. My first impression is either "really good fit for Michael Tyrant" or "too greedy to be worth it", but just from the reveals today, there are a lot of cards I want to see him cook with.

I love how every time I get into a new card game, Mogwai happens to be playing it. Been having a great time trying out your decks, been finding a lot of success with Mr. Omegalul himself. Much love Mogwai ❤

Experimental videos featuring fresh brews and thoughts on tweaking are also compelling content and they eventually lead to a second video about an optimized deck. Think about it!

I've somehow pulled 3 Ghireds out of my Outlaw packs, so very happy to see you brewing around him. I feel like another card that could work with him is Roxanne, Starfall Savant since she makes meteorite tokens. If you end up returning to Ghired to make more decks in the future that would be my combo suggestion, thanks for the videos!

I built that Ilharg deck with Agent of Treachery back in the day as a paper deck and it absolutely stomped my play group at that time. I still have that deck actually! I still play the Grixis Fires deck you designed in Historic Ranked as well. I'm very happy to see you making MTG content again. Your decks are always so interesting and challenge the meta in new ways!

Your off meta deck building prowess turns me on more than my gf on a date night does. Also Kellan is a dude and is kind of the new protagonist of the lore, he just keeps jumping from plane to plane through the omenpaths and he is always involved in whatever major scheme is happening in the story. Keep up the hard work! And if some day you cant come up with new shit, dont worry, no meed to ger yourself burned out too soon!

I usually don't play Standard precisely because the meta feels quite stale, so you putting in so much effort to actually build viable off meta decks is incredibly impressive. I wonder if you plan to look into Historic and play around with new cards there any time soon, or you aren't fond of such high power formats?

Honestly mogwai I don’t even know how you managed to pump this many decks in such a short amount of time. I mean if it was me I would craft like 3 decks a week tops (2 of them non functional) and run out of ideas after 2 weeks lmfao Just saying if you want to take breaks or make other kinds of mtg content in between decks that doesn’t require so much creative pressure it’s compleeetly fine by me

All the kellan is the same, he is traveling the multiverse through the omenpath since he is not a planeswalker. I do agree a lot of the Kellan does not look a like and lack of consistency for his art sadly.

Tbh I run kellan in a deck with 20+ valid target and even there he never draw somehow. Also somehow each time i pick a combo deck i will face UW controls, but then I switch to something else and all the midrange "easy targets" suddenly appear. I feel like arena can smell what kind of opponent you hate and serves that to you in priority.

You rely too much in your combo pieces so and sometimes you draw too much lands. Maybe you can adjust a little the cards but it is a good deck overall. I can guess control and maybe aggro can be hard if you don't find your combo. Good job, Mog.
