Aaron from Off the Hook Venice goes inshore fishing with his neighbor Chris on a very chilly and windy morning aboard a Gheenoe 15'6" Classic which is crazy fast for basically a canoe. Are both of them capable of getting an inshore slam? Watch this adventure unfold. An inshore slam is a peak moment for any angler. Awesome! Gheenoes are a great way to get to skinny spots and you can't beat the gas mileage.
What is your fuel capacity and what kind of range you getting?
Gulf of Mexico inshore slam is a trout , a red fish , and a flounder 😔 I’ve never got one .. but I have a gheenoe now 🤣.. good fishing guys !

@Capt AJ I feel your chances are pretty good on the east coast! I have a lot of friends up by Titusville that go gigging out of their gheenoes all the time.

My Dad has caught flounder in Bull Bay, so it is possible. Trust me, that wasn’t what he was fishing for… but you take what you can get.

Upper Gulf has no snook, so substitute with flounder

Snook and Redfish we are not able to harvest in this area the last few years because of the dropping numbers.
