Kindly do your reseach before spreading wrong info. Ghana does not have any polytechnics. They've been transitioned into technical universities for a couple of years now. Plus i went through some comments you replied and you're inherently very rude. Thats bad for a creator.

Why did you not question when I said 15 public national and 10 technical Universities in my video. The extra 10 technical universities I mentioned were formerly polytechnics. I still added them as Polytechnics again cos academically speaking, they have structures and facilities of both poly and Uni in my opinion though Many Nigerians and other foreigners won't accept such standard. Let me even ask you, How can a country that prides itself on education, a country that claims to be the best attracting foreigners all over the world convert polytechnics to Universities and you're proud to say it on a global platform?, do you know the meaning.? A country like Ghana should create a national budget and construct adequate structures that meet international standards for University education, not to convert "all poly to uni", that's below standard internationally speaking. A country like Ghana that prides itself on education should have existing separate public structures called Polytechnics. It's fundamental. You don't even understand the importance of polytechnics, do you?. You think only "Universities" is what solidifies education in a country??, Polytechnics are very important. If you've travelled to other countries and seen how their education system works, you wouldn't have highlighted this in the manner you did. You see, sometimes, you should leave some sleeping topics alone. Try to cover your country's nakedness.

My dear sister, you have dons really well in explaining the situation to us and particularly our Ghanaian brothers and sisters. I am a Nigerian I appreciated your efforts. However, there is nothing wrong in converting the polytechnics to universities. It is an accepted standard all over the world. When polytechnics are converted to universities,p it is an upgrade from technical to more theoretical and research oriented standard. I must say that I studied in the United Kingdom and polytechnics don't award degrees but the government established a degree awarding body kniwn as Council for National Academic Award (CNAA) for students in thd polytechnics. This degree is also in addition to the Higher National Diploma (HND). However, the Government of Mr John Major passed an Act known as Further and Higher Education Act 1992 which abolished the polytechnics and all of them were granted university status. So generally, the conversion does not lower standard, therefore there is nothing with it. In all , however, ur Ghanaian bothers and susters must undetstand that Nigeria operates a very strict standard and does not mean that the nigerians in their universities come to Ghana because their universities have a better or higher standard than it is obtained in Nigeria. Far from it, our population contributes to that.

No dear, some of the statements on social media are exaggerated. Land size of Ghana is about 238,500km+, while Nigeria is 923,768km, so Nigeria is only 4 times the size of Ghana in land size, before they were 6 times but after the battle, we lost some part to cameroun. Land size of Lagos is just 1,171km Land size of Accra is 225.7km . Lagos is 5 times the size of Accra. Lagos population as at 2023 is 26 million which is 12.5 times the size of Accra . It means that Ghana is 200 times bigger than Lagos in size and Land mass( cos Lagos is mostly an island). As for schools, all states have a minimum of 6 public tertiary institution no matter the size(1 federal university, 1 state university, 1 federal polytechnic, 1 state polytechnic, 1 federal college of education, 1 state college of education minimum) even the smallest states have a minimum of 6 public tertiary institutions and about 10 or more private institutions. Some states have more than 2 state polytechnics and 2 federal polytechnics. Some state have about 20-22 tertiary institutions. Lagos State alone has 12 Universities, 6 polytechnics and 5 colleges of education fully accredited. Those not yet accredited aren't mentioned.

Sis you’re doing well. I laugh when they say Nigerians have all come to study in Ghana🤣😂😂. Hilarious. The very very few who go definitely couldn’t secure admission in Nigeria. If a Nigerian wants to go school in another country on the basis of better educational system they would travel abroad to UK, US, CANADA etc. I never heard of a Nigerian who forfeited an admission in Nigeria to go study in Ghana. You guys are being lied to to feed your false sense of superiority dearies. Only 2 Ghanian’s unis made it to the top best universities in west Africa while more than 6 Nigerian universities did.

Your video is just based on hate and not facts. You goofed in certain aspects of your video out of inbuilt hatred. For instance, you made the name "Regional Maritime University" to confuse u and assumed Ghana has just one regional Univeristy😂😂 We don't have regional universities. Either it is public(national) or private. Regional Maritime University is a private institution and we Ghanaians don't make arguments with private entities unlike Nigerians do. We have national universities, polytechnics most of them now converted to polytechnic universities, colleges.etc Nigeria just have a useless education system. That is your problem and that is the reason some Nigerians are found in our universities. I was in a class with one Nigerian who came to offer Bsc Anaesthesia. I asked him why he did not do that in Nigeria? He said no Nigerian University offers Bsc Anaesthesia. All are diploma! I was shocked. In this 21st century?

  • @qinspride5795

Just listen to yourself. Sorry, I hyped you. If not, there's no public polytechnics currently at all, I already added the polytechnics as technical universities, that's why I specifically mentioned 15 public national and 10 technical Universities), in your self hype, you didn't remember. Do you know what it means that a whole nation converted polytechnics to technical Universities without proper structures instead of creating budget and building new structures(Polytechnics structures are not seen as a standard for universities). If I had said that, many foreigners will come to attack Ghanaians on my platform. A nation like Ghana that prides itself on education should have existing polytechnics no matter what. Am smarter than you think. Let's leave it at that. As for Regional Maritime University, you're incorrect, I specifically mentioned Region not your regions in Ghana. Regional Maritime University is not a "Ghanaian only" institution. It's an international university founded by 5 countries in West African Region like Gambia, Ghana, Cameroon, Sierra Leone and Liberia (though privately managed.) This was before Cameroon joined the Central African Republic/Region. As for your BSC, you based your assumptions on what a young undergraduate (who barely knew themselves) told you. A young person who barely crossed a university gate in Nigeria, who doesn't even understand how jamb worked in Nigeria. Can you imagine. What will it take you to pick your phone and find out. Let me believe that you made the stories up.
