Robin says that AJ was pushed to the point of the horrible things he did, like faking Michael’s death. He didn’t really see Michael as his son to love and protect, like Jason and Sonny. AJ saw Michael as a pawn and treated him as such. How much time did AJ spend with Michael, while Michael was at the Qs-very little. And that’s how much he cared, very little.

Jason was right about that conversation being too much for 6 year old, but him trying to justify keeping Micheal from AJ was BS last time I check it took two to make a child Carly got drunk and slept with AJ too and because she wanted Tony to be the father she drugged him and made him and this family think he relapse. He gives Sonny and Carly sonny passes but with the Quartermines they do the smalls thing he doesn't like and he's ready to cut them off not excusing AJ taking Micheal and making Carly think he was dead, but Carly and Somny have fone things just as bad.

Very good point, when AJ says, 'I got squeezed out of my son's life by a man who kills for a living and now you want to lie for him, too?? Cover up for his crimes?' No! AJ says. And yet, no one seems to stop Jason and Carly from acting them way they do and hurting Michael in the ways they do.

PJ did not get squeezed out of his son's life.....he walked out of it and then whined because he knew he made a huge mistake.....and PJ didn't need to lie to Micheal but he could of been a bit more subtle because Micheal would not of understood fully.....and another thing, what gave PJ the authority to bad mouth sonny and jason when he himself was the sorriest excuse of a male....Sonny and Jason did bad things in their business....what was PJ'S excuse for hurting others?

All high and mighty, did you deliberately set out to hurt Michael, no Jason, THAT WAS YOU AND CARLY AND SONNY. I can't stand Jason period and here this whole convo makes Jason look insane. AJ as always is right and wanting to intervene, he doesn't have any choice about how to go about it when the opportunity presents itself. Then this utter bs, you proved you are not his father, just put Jason in a straitjacket and be done with it. Judge and jury of his whole family, as if he is better than them. Military men? Some of us actually served, mob life can't be compared to that, serving doesn't have to involve bloodshed either, and veterans don't qualify for the death penalty. Jason was wrong back then to interfere when none of it was ever his business by going along lying to be Michael’s father when down the line he pretty much hurt Michael more than the Q’s ever could by putting a target and violence on his back to not live a better life without the mob and deep down I think he knows that justifying his actions is a waste of time to AJ because it’s all true on some of the things he says to him but not listening to agree. AJ may have had his flaws but during the time he spent with Michael while everyone thought he was dead and the kidnapping, he didn’t drink or do anything to hurt Michael with proving to be a good father Michael always needed had he gotten the chance without being around the Q’s who always put him down and brought out the worst in him to drink.

Carly intended to get pregnant by Jason and pass the baby off as Tony's, but she ended up with AJ cuz he was an easy target, or so she mistakenly thought. AJ didn't hit on her cuz she was with Tony his friend and neighbor until Carly started to manipulate AJ into feeling sorry for her and thinking he had a chance with her while he was drunk. That wasn't even an s/l, it was one scene I'm sure you've seen. She could have left AJ alone, but she used him for her own agenda and that started the war. Nothing AJ did as a result of that is proof he started anything much less a war. She started it and intended to steal Michael from the very beginning.

I dont understand why ya'll continued to feel sorry for PJ.....HE GAVE HIS SON AWAY TO PROTECT HIS OWN ASS.....but ya'll insist on feeling sorry for a man who threatened to take away a child from its mother.....and instead of working towards a compromise he continually terrorized her because he could.....making him think that he was drinking again was terrible but he did threaten to take her kid away.....and then he gave him away.....i feel no sympathy for the drunk....who was a drunk before Carly.
