Did anyone else notice Spencer's reaction (opening his eyes) when Curtis mentions "a higher power, guiding us to our next right step" - wonder if this is going to be picked up in future Sprina convos, maybe inspiring him to do something since he is really rubbing Trina's hand at that moment. Also when Curtis mentions "life does give us curve balls", Trina and Spencer look at each other. 😍 I loved this entire scene. A lot of little things but the feel of Sprina being a unit, the comfortable kiss and Spencer being a menace by swerving both Portia and Marshall🥧 (was that NAC?🤣) Anyway Spencer did say that he was making Trina his priority from now on. Sorry not Sorry Portia. 🤣😜 His queen comes first - yesssss petty prince. 💞

All Portia and the rest could do was say "Wow" and that cute smirk smile on Spencer's face was too cute! Trina loved that move from Spencer and so did Marshall.

Everything about this scene was warm and welcoming. Even knowing Spencer’s not everyone’s favorite person, they still didn’t seem turned off by him being there. I know I’m not the only person to say this, but it highlights how much he doesn’t get that at Laura’s. He’s only applauded if he fits into the box they need him to. Daddy daycare, understanding son, etc…The Ashford’s knew about Sprina’s argument and still had arms wide open 🥹

Game recognize game and what they saw today was a young man that loves their daughter/granddaughter. He's not faking it, he's not using her. Sprina was giving married vibes today. Bring it on, let's go! Trina and Spencer both deserved this moment. This is how it should have been for them when they returned from NYC; all lovey dovey and just blissed out on their love for each other. Instead, when they returned to PC, they had to deal with the situation that shall not be named. We need more romantic moments with Sprina.

At first, I thought maybe Trina & Spencer should have eaten someplace else but what a good move, and Spencer got to enjoy Thanksgiving with her family. He knows how to handle himself and he knows Trina's family doesn't like him that much, but they saw that he loves her. Trina was so happy with him, and he was happy with her. I also liked Curtis's Thanksgiving speech and prayer; it was very nice. I am so happy that both worked it out and hope that Portia will realize that Spencer loves her daughter. SPRINA to the end, love this couple so much.

@@marshagreen9759 the way the two camps (Portia vs. Curtis/Marshall) view Spencer is so interesting. IMO Portia doesn't doubt that Spencer loves Trina. She just doesn't believe he is good enough for her. Whereas, I think Curtis/Marshall knows how much Trina loves, cares for and has sacrificed for Spencer but they have questioned whether the feelings and ability to make hard sacrifices on Spencer's end is/can be equally reciprocated. They had to see for themselves that Spencer is the real deal. Spencer hasn't spent time around her family so that also contributed to their apprehension. I think, they now are much more likely to embrace him. Portia is willing to die on the Spencer is not good enough hill. LOL.

@@SuperOctober71 Portia might not admit it but when Spencer did that famous pie move, she smiled and said: "oh wow", that was a smooth/cool move that our guy Spencer did. I loved it and so did Ms. Trina. Marshall said nice move. Spencer will blow up after his movie deal and will not be around GH much longer. He has a Rock Hudson type of talent or even better. Hollywood is going to grab him up, I feel it.

I think there was a couple of reasons why Spencer was so serious at the dinner 1. I think he misses Ace, because this would have been his first thanksgiving with him and now knowing that he has to step back and just be his brother and not over do it. 2. He also knows that Portia hates him and wishes he wasn't there. He has a lot on his mind right now and he doesn't need her judgement when he walks in with Trina. I loved the part when he was slicing the pie and it looked like he was going to give Portia the slice but then swurved it to Trina. Damn straight he did that it was like (if you think I'm going to let you have my woman's slice after the way you've treated me , think again). I knew after I watched today's episode and the part at the end with the pie I knew alot of people would be commenting on it and I love that.

This was a happy Thanksgiving at the Ashfords house today.

Curtis has never been one of my favorite characters, but the prayer he said was so touching and so profoundly applying to real life as well as GH residents, I must say it touched my heart so much, I listened, I understood and then my emotions took over, and I cried, what a beautiful Thanksgiving show, what a wonderful prayer, so I am beginning to look at Curtis differently all because of a "Thanksgiving Prayer !!

They had people wearing coats when they walked in and they face the beach, so the wind would come off the ocean.

New Flesh for Portia, the perfect partner doesn't exist... No one in the world is perfect, much less her... It's okay to love her daughter, but meddling in her life seems excessive to me. The fact that Portia doesn't approve of Spencer won't change Trina's mind. Furthermore, Portia wants to stand on the pedestal, as a model person, from which she should come down, because for 20 years she has not lied to 3 people, one of whom she says that is the most impressive person in her world. If Trina can forgive Portia, Portia should try a little harder to get to know what Spencer is really like. Ok sometimes he can have attitudes that Portia doesn't like, but that doesn't mean that deep down, Spencer is a good person. The last name a person bears does not reflect the person he or she is. No one chooses to be born into a certain family.
