Hi. I like your videos a lot, they are very helpful for me. I build my own guitars as a hobby and I use them to serve the Lord playing at church. I just bought a cnc and I hope I can use it for build my guitars. I love the background music you use on your videos. Watching them and worshipping the Lord. Is awesome. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for taking the time to share your process, you're a man of many fixtures. 😁 Blessings from Scotland.
The contrasting laminates, both through the neck and layered into the body, are really elegant. Who needs pink sparkle shouty paint when the wood can speak softly for itself.

Yeah that is exactly how I feel
I like your idea for the handheld spindle sander, the pipe for the second handle.
As the contouring is going in I'm really liking the dark lines from the veneer you used when you fixed the oops of the internal cavity. All the other laminate lines are looking sweet as well with the contouring.
Absolutely beautiful! That neck is stunning after the carve.

Tod I do agree
I stumbled upon this build yesterday and watched the videos straight through. Man, what a great build! So much great information. I am really impressed with how you tackled the problem where you breached the cavity. Experience teaches us all that problem solving is where the greatest lessons lie; and the best teachers have the strength and humility to present their own problems so that their students may learn those lessons too. Bravo to you!!!
Shes a beauty
Dave the reasion for the roter bit burning the wood the speed of your bit was too fast. A good rule of thumb is the bigger the bit the slower the speed. Great body

Thanks Matt. Yeah I thought about that after I was done I think I usually set that bit at about 16,000 rpm it was probably on 21,000

@@eworcustomguitars I've been asked on occasion as well. I'm not sure what gave me the impression.
When you were measuring for neck thickness, were you referencing off the top surface of the fret or the fret board next to the fret?
@eworcustomguitars

I measure on top of the fretboard at the high point of the radius.
What timber is used in this neck through? Maple, Sapele then blk walnut or something really dark & strong?
@eworcustomguitars

That is maple, blood wood, and wenge. Thank you for watching!
