In a music industry that is over saturated with great singers with breathy, whispery tones, GG is like a breath of fresh air. Her voice texture is how I imagine landing on solid ground after parachuting would feel like. Her tone reminds me of Tina Arena - punchy but not ear rupturing, with just the right tenderness around the corners.

I was in the US Navy Band and was stationed in Yokosuka Japan and the 2 years I was there was the only time the Navy Band didn’t go to the Philippines. I was very disappointed.
