I'm really sorry to break the bubble, but I need ro disagree. Yes, they have a great vocal, ALL OF THEM, but it doesn't mean they can be a main vocal to everything. Some may have the chance like Eunha and Sinb, but Umji, Sowon and Yerin is still lacking something to be a main Vocal. I love them, so please... let's not spoil thwm with too much flattery, because it's the same reasob why other fandoms are against our lovely Gfriend.

@@galaxia_6960 i think only Umji and Sowon need to improve their vocal technique if they wanna become main vocalist. Yerin literally can do one of the highest Yuju high note (Time for the moon night) when she took the yuju part when yuju absent in one of their stage. Yerin still considered Best vocalist in gfriend vocalist line. And now we can see Umji also doing a high note along with Yuju and Eunha in their new song Apple. This prove that most of them are a good vocalist. Only Sowon needs an improvement.

Oh Honey in my opinion hitting high notes doesnt mean you have really good vocals. Everyone can hit high notes with some practice and technique .I think a good vocalist should have unique voice tone. For example I can listen IU all day she can sing a lullaby to me and I will still be amazed. Only Yuju have that in gfriend. But thats MY opinion. Sorry for my english tho...

@@7vt8td all of them actually, especially Sinb and Yerin, but they didn't receive any training after their debut so... It's no wonder the improvement was slow.

Maybe you do not like Yuju's voice color (tone), but Yuju's vocal technique is way better than other members. Voice color is subjective but vocal technique is objective. Yuju's vocal technique is not only much better in belting, but ini other too like complex runs. They have good vocal technique but Yuju's vocal technique is amazing.

Several month ago, I watched some videos that Eunha and Yerin have supported vocal in their mix voice, but they rare use this technique. They often use their cute voice which is not supported. Now Eunha colab with Adora and she use supported vocal which is better technique.

sinbsnapppedd oh okay I’ll look forward to it :) I want to make one too but I’m waiting for some members to sing the notes that are missing from their ranges, like yuju has never sung an E3 although she’s sung a D3 before. Also some of their ranges expand each comeback, like we got a new G5 belt from yuju and and Eb5 falsetto from Sowon. I’m mostly waiting on sowon too, the range she’s shown so far isn’t even 2 octaves, F3- Eb5

@@tthiagob5088 i disagree. I dont think it was a belt though. Like she barely use her chest it was definitely mix but with more falsetto in it. Her voice is definitely light but that G5 was out of her confront zone for sure. She doesnt even support her notes honestly.

I actually play a keyboard so i kinda know some notes... but if I'm not sure... i use an app called Gstrings... i just sing the note in a falsetto and it will distinguish the note I'm singing.... thanks for watching tho...

I think Sunrise is their best era. 3 members have the high note, and 3 high notes are very high. In my opinion, this song is the first time Eunha is treated like a main vocal (she belted the highest note in this song). Umji didnt have any high note, but she is prettier, and took main role in the story.

Eunha's singing is unsupported. She always strains her voice, it just gets covered up by her tone (which sounds heavenly) but overall she is still a weak singer. Yuju became the main vocalist not because she can hit those high notes but because she has a stable well-suppirted singing technique. From the looks of it, Yerin's singing is somehow supported as well as she does not really strain her voice while singing.

Non of gfriend members can support except for Yuju. From what I read, Eunha showcase some shallow support, but it’s very shallow to be called as support one. SinB can even better than Eunha tho bcz she’s more relaxed than her. Yerin doesn’t support also, she put power on belting but that doesn’t mean that she can support.
