Yes it does sound very good. I certainly wouldn't have an issue using it in a mix.

I bought this at the discounted introduction price. It's a good synth. Nicely laid out with some very useful additions over the real OB-X. I wasn't keen on a lot of the presets, and so many of them have too many effects plastered over them. But the raw tone of the synth is good and the filter is probably the best SVF filter I have heard from a VST. It didn't take me long to find a couple of bugs and reported them to GForce. Within the hour I got a response and they promised a fix in an update soon.

@@RunningonairMusic Indeed. Both bugs are a bit annoying. One is that the OB-X will allow you to save a patch with a name that already exists. But then won't allow you to access it, even if you stored that patch in another folder. I could not work out how to restore that patch either. So if you've worked on creating a great sounding patch and then save it with a name that just happened to have been used before, it's gone. The second bug is that, in some instances, the delay effect creates a small but significant DC offset that sits on the audio output forever. Your DAW's meters will show this signal. This can then upset any further processing you have down the audio chain. You can remove the offset by turning up the HPF control in the delay section.

I was given a free copy, so you'll need to wait for the next sale. It's also checking out the oscar, I got that for around £15, it's quite old but sounds great. I've used it quite a lot on my last track. If you're really strapped for cash, there are so many good free synths you don't need to spend any money at all.

Can someone tell me how CPU heavy this is? Heavy like Diva? Or small like Tal
