Lowe's has a promo if you buy the bare tool, get the battery and charger free. Same for the 18 volt version.

I'm buying this to way better than the big ass Milwaukee one!!! I still have 2 batteries somewhere lol. Gotta admit for 12v 2ah batteries that thing is impressive af!!

Great video, love the sander, but I was wandering I see the vac in the background, I if that was hooked up to the sander if it would be sufficient ?

That vacuum works well with the sanders. Keep in mind the sanders actively draw dust from the work surface, so the pull from the vacuum doesn't need to be that great.

Hows the rotation sensitivity? Some of these sanders (especially the Ryobi) stop rotating once you apply pressure. It's annoying when you want to strip material.

I world say it's more a sander, than a stripper. So it oscillates more than rotates. Bosch has a good corded sander, that has turbo mode, specifically designed for that application

If you’er having to apply pressure, you are using either the wrong grit of sander. Random orbital sanders are designed to be used with just enough pressure to control direction etc, and let the paper and action do the sanding. If you need more to strip something, use higher grit or a belt sander, then finish with a orbital.

This 12V Bosch orbital sander doesn’t seem very powerful at all !?? 😕🥺🤦🏻‍♂️
