Yesterday, forearm, ellies tattoo from tlou pt2. Honestly it wasnt that bad through out just like an intense scratching and burning but after care was the worse

@@eniolaolumiluatv2338 its definitely stretches a bit more in those areas. But a licensed artist can get around that. It may be a bit more sensitive in those areas. And can be inflammed more easily. But it doesnt mean it will hurt based on your pain tolerance its just gonna look a bit worse for a while. And if your artist doesnt put in deep color and do multiple passes it could fade more easily but stretch marks are kinda like scars. so they'll always be visible

It's funny you say that. I waited around 10 years to get a quote tattooed on me but it was only after my mum died around 6 years ago that I went for it. I got a tattoo for my mum across my left chest area and then the quote put on my inner forearm which has since been covered up and put on my the other arm. I didn't regret the quote, I just made a mistake with the font which after a few years started to blur into a blob. The two tattoos were less than an hour but yikes, I was unprepared for the aftermath of how I would feel. I prepare a lot better nowadays.

Can I get an update?

I’m getting my first tattoo tomorrow, and I’m so excited! I’ve been thinking about different ideas and placements for over a year now. I landed on getting a safety pin around a scar I have on my shoulder, so it looks like it’s going through the scar! I found the idea while reading and it stuck! I’m hoping to get more tattoos in the future with more meaningful things, but this really felt like a great starting point for me! Edit: I got it! It didn’t hurt that bad at all and so far it’s not bad of a healing process. I already have ideas for future tattoos!

@@Storm-lj2nq i had heard it being compared to cat scratches but it actually hurt less way less than that. It stung a bit whenever she had to go over certain areas multiple times, but nothing too crazy. I plan on trying to get a spine tattoo sometime in the near future, even though I’ve heard that it hurts like a b*tch because of the placement

Watched so many of your videos & finally got my first tattoo last week after sitting on it for 10 years! It feels so surreal and I’m so happy to finally get started. I’ve only ever had 5 planned so I’m glad I found the perfect artist for my first piece :) and you’re right.. I was planning the placement on my second while getting tatted for my first lol!

I got my first tattoo on my ribcage. I was 14, I got done in a studio, my parents didn’t want me to get it, I went behind her back and went with my friends mom. My tattoo is “hey mom, love you!” On my ribcage and it’s huge. I’m 24 and I still love it and I have one arm sleeve and more tattoos. I have no regret

First tattoo at age 58 in February of 2024. Inner thigh, knee to crotch, a tiger rampant on a stone and bamboo background. First ten days of healing was painful and annoying. Love it, healed well and looks great.

I'm getting my first tattoo on the 21st! I trust my artist and we've talked about it for a month or two, I've had the idea for around a year. It's a flower to honor my grandfather. The tips are very much appreciated, I've been reading and watching everything I can to prepare for it. Just got my first tattoo about 5 days ago: 2 pieces on my right thigh, 11 centimeters length, 7 centimeters width each. 3 hours of work, the last 30 minutes were rough but I got through it, I did put a lot of meaning for my tattoos ( I have lots of tattoo in mind but I wanted to get those first). I searched for my artist in the city I live in, wanted someone polyvalent, that does lots of personal projects with different styles that I liked because I had the idea but not the design in mind so I gave my tattoo artist lots of trust and she did the designs I loved! Was worth the trust. Also, on how I handled the pain: I was either listening to the music playing in the background or focusing on the needles, alternating both through the 3 hours.

Just got my first tattoo it was a full chest piece , love all you’re videos . All your videos have helped me out a ton plus I’m already in the works for my sleeve . Cant wait to see wait you have in store for us keep up the great work bro .

Thank you for preparing me bc I binged watched you before getting one. I got my first tattoo a day ago. I won’t sugar coat, this hurt bad like really bad. Felt like a hot nail dragging across my skin deep. And I got it in one of the less sensitive areas. Although it hurt I’m DEFINITELY getting a few more, maybe with numbing cream but definitely getting more tattoos. The outcome outweighs the pain but I wasn’t expecting it to be THAT bad but it looks beautiful😍😩I don’t know how you can get the beautiful detailed art that you have but you’re extremely strong to withstand that. Anyways thank you for showing the after care, you’ve been very helpful ❤️

I have been following your videos for sometime after I booked my tattoo artist and was waiting for my first of many tattoos as part of my arm sleeve to be done. This week i have had 2 sessions and I am very pleased with the results so far, as I had invested a good amount of time deciding the tattooss, looking for the best available black and grey realism tattoo artist here in Dublin, Ireland and then finally getting it done. First tattoo a week ago, start to my arm sleeve. Managed to get my whole forearm done in a 7 hour session. Clocks/roses, hour glass etc in memory of a loved one :)

I got my first tattoo on Maui in 1994, a smallish Hawai'ian design made of simple rows of triangles, I was 40 and nobody had "body art" at the time. (I nearly passed out from anticipation.) I did design research for years before I stepped in so I knew the styles well. Your advice is good, but I would add that you must simply relax into the pain and breathe. The pain will be more bearable when your endorphins kick in. Knowing some meditation techniques helps me. Never use alcohol, it thins the blood. A good artist will not tattoo the inebriated. Bigger is better. A good tattoo is not cheap and a cheap tattoo is not good. Plan on getting more and make sure any design has some opening that can be tied into your next possible piece. Trust your artist, which means get to know your artist and their work. Never get tattooed on a whim. It's ok to be a blank. LOL

Great advice. I’m using everything but my right leg for big connected prices that flow... traditional Japanese, and then with my right leg I’m using to get a bit of every style.. new school, pinup, American traditional etc

I’m 27 years old and I’m getting my first one today. It had to have meaning for me and I just lost my grandma so she’s definitely more than qualified ❤. I’m excited

I went to get my first tattoo on the day of my 18th birthday 🎉 I got “Que sera, sera” on the top of my shoulder which people advised against due to the potential pain. I did not feel it was too bad and it likely helped with future tattoos and being able to determine pain levels. Thinking back almost 8 years now I definitely still love the tattoo and it’s placement despite it being a relatively cliche tattoo at this point. But it looks really good still so I’m happy!

As long as you’re happy with it that’s all that matters. So many of us have cliche tattoos 🤷🏼‍♀️

One of my first tattoo's was near my collar bone, most of it was on my chest but there was a small part on my collar bone, and now I know I can get through a lot for tattooing since I was able to get it done there.

Great video just got my outside forearm done from wrist to elbow and i planned my tattoo for about a year and got all my ideas together before i went for my first session. Also listen to research! My first couple tattoos were cheap from someones house which are the ones i regret!

I just got my first tattoo today for my 45th birthday. I got it on my left shoulder/ upper arm. It's Prov. 11:16 A KINDHEARTED WOMAN GAINS HONOR with a sunflower above it. My artist was amazing. He made my first time very comfortable. Thank you for your info.

I got a compass- And I’ve been wanting it for 2 years and I love it. It’s on my bicep/shoulder. It’s my palm sized.

I just got my first tattoo today. It’s a nerd tribal design mixed from different symbols (fairy tail, nightwing, binary code, enochian, shinedown, yin&yang, constellations, and some family details. I had been redrawing and redesigning it for 5 years. I was happy with the final design for the last 2 years. Today my close friends chipped in to help me get my first tattoo as a Christmas present for me. It’s on my left upper arm and is approximately 5x7 inches big. My artist did classic and hard rock themed work. He made me so comfortable I forgot about my music and had to tell him to stop making me laugh. I can’t wait to post pictures and reviews once it heals in a few days.

My first tattoo was a half sleeve on my upper right arm. Right now it's a hand holding a semi truck with writing that says keep me safe get me home. When it's all done it will have rays of light shining down on it along with some signs that show where I'm from (which is Illinois).

yooooo bro im a little late but your videos are sick, never heard such a factual statement when you said I would be thinking about my next tattoo while sitting in the chair. Exactly what I did and I still only hve one but ive been planning some for my whole body, long journey ahead

My first was upper arm and a fractal set in dotwork. NOw it is a full sleeve and down through armpit and ribs. Now I have a full colour fractal piece on other armpit/ribs. Can't stop getting my sleeve fiddled with but that's the beauty of dotwork/tattoos! I was 40 when I got mine having sat on it for 20-odd years.

My first tattoo was a guardian angel sword on my arm. I had to get touched up after, it didn’t come out that great but after it got touched up by a way better artist it came out amazing! You are so right with finding the right artist. I only have one now and she’s amazing. She’s the one that touched up my arm and she put a portrait of my dog on me which is an American bully in color and it came out great!!

My first tattoo I was 15 and it’s a hamsa hand on my thigh with a realism green eye within it and some jewellery looking stuff dangling from it . I still love it and the meaning behind hamsa hands and the link with spirituality the only thing is my aftercare wasn’t the best and went out into the sun in shorts a few days after getting it done :/

I didn’t sleep the night before because I was nervous and now I have to come back next month for her to finish the shading , I got a bit shaky and I’m sure it’s because I didn’t sleep at all the night before. That’s awesome to hear. And I’d definitely say a good sleep helps ALOT I’ve had sessions where I got barley any sleep and it’s an unpleasant experience

My first tattoo was 7 months ago and I almost passed out. It was on the wrist area and the pain was way worst than I expected. I wanted to do that tattoo since I was 12 years old, I usted to draw the tattoo on the spot i wanted it with sharpie and I got it real donde until I was 20. I have to admit that for a small time, I kinda regret it a little bit, not for the design or the quality (which both are excellent) but I kinda overthought the idea of having something forever and ever. I had that thought for like 2 weeks and now I just love it, I just appreciate it so much. My biggest advice would be, find a GOOD artist. Even if it’s a small design, try to make it with a great artist even if you think it’s a little bit expensive. Tattoos are art that is gonna go with you to the other life. A lot of friends have been tattooing with inexperienced and first beginners artists and the quality it’s just awful. The whole process of healing and even when it peels of, it looks terrible. Hopefully my next tattoo can be a full sleeve 🤞🏻

I found you because of your laser printer tattoo video. I was hoping you would cover another method. If you have an Ink printer you can do this: 1. Put scotch packing tape on the part of paper you’re going to print on. 2. Rub a glue stick over the packing tape 3. Print your design over the tape and glue 4. Apply it to your skin and put light pressure for a few seconds And you’ll get a temporary tattoo that I think is better than the laser printer ones.

My first tattoo was a thigh piece which fills the front of my left thigh. It's a skull with snails, a frog, a bunch of wild plantlife, mushrooms etc. I love it so much. I'm getting my second tattoo on Monday and it will be on my inner fore arm.

The one I feel is helpful is numbing cream. It doesn’t make it painless but does kind of cut down the hot soldering iron feeling in the rough spots. It gets me through my wrist and places like that. I don’t see it as a defeat. It works and doesn’t affect my tattoo and just takes the bite out of it a bit so I can get work done without giving up too soon.

I‘kk agree with this. My artist used it on me and I think it was able to help abit, definitely doesn’t stop the pain or make it fo away completely but it did seem to help abit.. or could have just been my mind and the placebo effect

I get my first tattoo today, I'm getting a tree and my good friends name/date of death underneath it. He passed away last summer and I've wanted to do this for months now, I think this'll be a good way to remember him and be able to show others his legacy

You’ll always be nervous when getting a tattoo, I still do and look at how many I have. Just have to make sure you’re prepared, have a. If meal, get a good sleep and bring lots of snack& distractions

I got two i am planning on getting (black rose and a Geometric Watercolor Sagittarius arrow tattoo) but cause i am being very picky and particular about them, as they do have a significant meaning to me may be i should hold off on them for a while and let it work itself out instead of forcing it. I'm not regretting it, just think i should take a bit more time on those two and go for another tattoo style i like, may be a small Ornamental tattoo over my two black rose and geometric tattoo to start out with.

JustINKD! love the channel man! i'm so excited for my first tattoo.. big spartan/parthenon surrealism piece for my right shoulder. artist said it will be a full day sesh, so i'm kinda nervous for how long it may take, but really excited to endure the pain & see the result. i'm worried for how ill be like 6 hours in lol.. i'm also anemic so i'm trying to make damn sure I don't pass out due to a silly imbalance like 5 hours in. Maybe he will let me take the tattoo lying down, but i'm worried he might get upset if I ask for this! Keep up the videos! sorry for sharing my shit lol.

Sounds like a sick tattoo! Love that style and theme! And it will be long but shoulder is the easiest part of the arm so atleast you’ll have that. I’d say for you to just bring snacks and a lot of distractions to pass the time along with distracting you from the pain. Also don’t be afraid to speak up, that’s something I’m sure he won’t be upset at all to know and will cater to you the best he can

my first tattoo was some tribal with a red rose in the middle on my left bicep. after years of having it i went to get my half sleeve done and it didn't flow with what i wanted so i had it covered up with some smoldering rocks that has skulls coming up from them and an angel rising above them on my shoulder.

Iv booked a 6 hour session for my first tattoo on my left shoulder aha

My first tattoo was over 20yrs ago on the upper arm, it’s was a lone wolf. Now I’m thinking of having a another upper arm part lower forearm Or from upper Arm to elbow of an Angel so it covers my wolf. I’ve seen pictures I like. got it aswell on my upper back 1.5 weeks ago. Also my first tattoo

My first tattoo is booked for Monday the 14th, and im getting Be Still with a little anchor next to it.

I’m getting my first tattoo of a sunflower in memory of my mom

God I'm so excited I'm about 12 hours away from my appointment and my friend made the initial design and this is my first tattoo.

First major tattoo I got was just recently it’s an anime tattoo of Ichigo half Hollow mode! Looks too badass and in Japanese his signature move “Moon Fang Heaven-Piercer”

If you’re booking a tattoo appointment and there’s a design you like and you find a drawing of it on google can you send it to the tattoo artist you’re messaging and ask them to do it or is that considered “copying”?

I work at a restaurant going in and out of the sun all day and I just got a tattoo on my arm what should I do about that during the healing process of my tattoo, should I where a sleve over it or just leave it uncovered

Good advice. For me on tattoo day anything does in terms of food. I don't tend to take anything with me to distract from the pain I just close my eyes, so if I know I've had enough to eat then I know it's half the battle won. For me it's anything from cookies, sweets, doughnuts, chocolate, cakes, cola, McDonald's, KFC. I tend to travel quite far for my tattoos so will typically doing a 11 hour round trip in the car. So I need to be well fed and watered 🤣🤣🤣

Damn thats crazy, you're a trooper!! 😅 atleast you're well fed, and sometimes I find it the best aswell to just close your eyes and breathe. WOW! That's a long day for you in just the car alone never mind adding a tattoo into the equation👏

Upper part of the outside of my lower leg just under the knee... The worst pain maybe cuz circular design.. since have done calf, upper thigh just above the knee, and outer bicep.. The last one is by far a breeze compare to the first one

I’m getting my first tattoo in a few days and it’s going to cover my entire left side of my chest and shoulder. It’s going to be the album cover of from mars to Sirius. I’m so nervous😂

It was good for me getting my first tattoo on my leg from the same guy that has done tattoos on most of my family and friends which helped

I really wish this info was around when I got my first tat. My tat was at the first place that I spotted and was some free hand clouds and mountains and Jesus portrait. It was almost half a sleeve and ended up getting a cover up years later because it was soo bad.
