2K15 until 2k17 was essentially just roster updates by that time on 360/PS3 hardware. All their resources went towards the new gen

I'm really happy that 2K made the decision of returning Special Guest Referee

Amazing how they brought back the popular match type.

I hated that I got kicked out as ref because I wasn't doing a 10 count when both guys were outside the ring. I was letting them fight! No one likes count outs! So glad I can turn off that meter now.

The ref meter should be like 2k14 it's very strict

Special Guest Referee is probably my favorite part of WWE games

I remember in WWE 13, if John lauranaitis was in the match, was the manager, or guest ref, if the guest ref was kicked out the ref would appear by himself too.

Getting kicked out as a guest ref is Lame!

When the gm is not there it looks like the ref is like the final boss ref and he is looking at you with great disappointment from the top of the ramp and then comes down to set things right lol

This was the worst feature ever added to a WWE game. Like why would anyone ever want to play as the ref if they didn’t get to just beat up people whenever they want and then DQ them or just say “I’m not counting for you because you hit me!” If they tried to return the favor?

Took them 7 years to bring back a feature that was never disliked 2k are assholes honestly these games seriously need competitors. This monopoly shit is ridiculous and really should be illegal.
