Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
in part 2 its mainly about the roof, the padded vinyl top is getting removed, the rear window gets re sealed and rust treated as well as the C pillar gets rust repair done.

Hey bro. Glad to see the progress you're making on the old Fleetwood. I can only imagine what it would like with a fresh coat of paint. It's such a majestic car and I'm glad to see you making the efforts to keep her on the road. We'll never see the likes of her again.

Man this just helped me a while Fucking lot foreal just gave me an idea to fix this 76 fleet wood that I want to buy bad , it’s bad and good to it but if it able to get the frame fixed a bit and do the rust removing by myself I should be good from there. I’m glad I just graduated from job Corp and received my carpentry certifications It’s gonna help me a lot with this. Anyway when I think about it your using steel and I said hey and thought to myself that’s like metal studs or making a door in a office and I said hey to myself again haha you need screws for the metal or steel that your using (comparison ) I said to myself this guy is a genius 🤷♂️.
Keeepp going pleaseeee😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥
I have a 05 Chevy Monte Carlo

good job but to be definitively efficient against rust , you should put grease everywhere. grease is the only thing very efficient against rust. put grease between metal and carpet, inside door, behind metallic bumper, under the vehicle, behind the repairs you can make (everywhere inside the body - hidden erea - instead of using paint), hollow areas (necessarily hidden, so no need to be aesthetic). For rear wings unreachable with a paintbrush, use an extender and pour old oil everywhere each year. Rust almost always comes from the inside and welds. Handyman Experience - 35 years. From france
On that top use Bedliner on the roof,I use white because it's so hot down south. On the rubber trim the glass seals against on the doors I soak with used motor oil.weeks later I use black urathane windsheild sealant for glueing windshields wipe a smooth layer on the seals in they come out great.the windows I remove each service all the door insides locks and motors the tint is 5% mirror tint blocks the heat but is easy to see thru. Mirror looks great on cars with tons of chrome.and I don't get pulled over for mirror tint. Some cars I restore I tint the windsheild with 10% ceramic tint it's very hot we're I live.

i do want to paint this car but its got to wait till next year, not much i can do during MN winters.
Lol I quit smoking 9 years ago, I sooo don't miss it!
It makes sense about the elegance but the d elegance makes it sound more foreign..
But I can’t forget to do the process with the window , and the sealing materials you used. Of course that’s a key component and the truck with the cigarettes.
you should have pop riveted the patch on ther outside then grind the rivet heads and bondo
d'Elegance stands or "of the elegance" in french.
How does a roof get damaged like that??

Vinyl tops. They looked cool but once the sun cracked it, all the moisture gets trapped underneath and the c pillar rusts out.
