    Why do you have to create users in Exchange Server? Shouldn't it be AD integrated and automatic?

  • @AndyMaloneMVP

    @AndyMaloneMVP

    3 жыл бұрын

    Both exchange server and Windows AD use a protocol called Kerberos Which is used for authentication purposes. All applications must be designed with this protocol in mind that’s in Windows server you must create a user account on premises which in turn also creates a mailbox in Microsoft exchange.

  • @Tassshi

    So exchange online is nothing but exchange admin center, equivalent to on premise exchange server. Although, I would like to know if there is auto sync between exchange server and exchange online or does it have to be performed manually if we want the mailbox in cloud.

    For the Microsoft, 365 administrator you are correct. The admin centre is a simple platform which can be used along with power shell modules to administer the next generation of Microsoft exchange. The backend however, it’s far more complicated for which you don’t need to worry yourself about as this is why you pay your subscription. 👍 😊

    Hello George thank you for visiting my site. The only way to view organisational relationships is by using Microsoft teams. If you select a contact in Microsoft teams there is an organisation tab which will show you the organisational relationship that they have. Please note however this is only viewable, if this feature is enabled in the admin centre. Thanks again and keep watching.

    Hi. Really loved your video man! Have a question though, I am very new in this area and I am looking for a job change, I want to know the career prospects of Microsoft Exchange Server Admin in terms of career growth and salary. Love from India :)

  • @AndyMaloneMVP

    Good morning and thanks for asking the question. If I were you I would focus on Microsoft 365 certification. You can do the MS100 & MS101 exams and then follow it up with the Exchange exam. This will put you in a very good position job and career wise. I can't say salary wise for India as I'm in the UK, but I think you should do well, especially if you gain experience. Like all things though it takes time & effort. But I'm sure you will do well. Anyway, good luck and check out some of my other videos they will help you :-) Andy
