Hi Andy, a quick question; are these steps still valid if I have to enroll existing devices to Intune. By existing, I mean lets say we have 100 users that are already being used by employees and we switched the license from E3 to E5 and now I have to Enroll those devices to intune!
Yes, although the interface has been updated, everything still works and the principles remain the same. I plan to do an updated video shortly.

Excellent video. One small nitpick, when you added Jean Luc dynamically to a group, I would have liked to seen evidence he was not in the group, and then he was in the group after you changed his department. It wasn't clear that anything had changed in his profile.

School and workplace join in windows 11. You can join a device as long as you are authorised.
Isn’t it true though that attestation isn’t supported right now during the preview? Or have they now enabled it? I think you shouldn’t allow this in production until it is supported.
Attestation is not something you switch on. It’s built in to the tech.

I set up an automatic reply, but it only works in Teams. Recipients inside and outside the organization aren't receiving an email reply. However, they can see the message header at the top of the email, which displays the automatic reply message in red. Note: This problem only happens with my custom domain. No rules have been set up, and I sued a private window, but it didn't work. I used another domain, and it worked. What could be the reason, and how can I figure it out?
Check your external group mail settings in Microsoft 365 Admin centre :-)

Great video Andy. at about 8:57 you say that one of the AAGUID for passkey is the Windows device. Can you please elaborate? Does it mean Windows phone or can we finally store the passkey on the Windows 11 device itself? Just like we can with github for example..

Windows 11 does support passkeys already. Device bound passkeys.

I have been an it technician on the hardware end for 30 plus years in a Windows environment. I very much want to move over to the software end and do desktop support and help desk. But I have. no experience in Active Directory SCCM and other software modules that are required to fulfill this position. I really. need to learn about this in order to. obtain this position. I appreciate your videos. I was wondering if there's anything that you could suggest to where I can get some training.
Hi Ralph. Honnestly the best way to learn is to get hands on. You could download an ISO of Windows Server 2022 and install a couple of VMs. Install AD and start by creating some users. Create a VM with Windows 11 and connect the network. That's how you learn. A number of vendors offer hands on labs. Microsoft learn has some good documentation. learn.microsoft.com . Unfortunately Microsoft no longer offers Server based training, only cloud. I'd run a course if I have a group of folks who want to learn. Not for free though I'm afraid. :-) Anyway I hope this helps. Andy

Hi Andy. First off, love your tutorials (especially on Microsoft Azure and Intune) and learning a lot from your videos. Question for you. when repurposing a corporate device, what is your preferred method when wiping an Intuned device? For example, when a person leaves a company and the computer needs to be re-imaged so it can be given it to another user such as a new hire. I use Fresh Start but when I look in my Secure Score in Microsoft Defender for regressions on exposed devices, I see the old device name reporting. When I investigate further into that device using the Device ID it actually shows the new device name that was given to another user. It might just be an endpoint device reporting issue. Thank you for your time and help.
Absolutely, simply re purpose with Intune and it will reset the device.

How popular is this service? I don't hear anyone talking about it and it's such an obviously useful offering!!! Years ago I used to be a Citrix guy running large networks with thin clients out in the field where I witnessed the sheer power of this server-centric Windows solution, and this was nearly 25 years ago.
