I believe as long as he doesn't throw his matches to deliberately de-rank it's OK with Psyonix. So what Lethamyr did in his 2v2 Road to... series, where he started from bronze is not allowed, because he deliberately lost matches to de-rank. Virge hasn't thrown any of his matches, so this series should be good.

If you intentionally lose games at any point you can get in trouble. As long as you don’t abuse the matchmaking rules these types of videos are fine!

Lots of these"simple" plays are not simple. The power slide turn before the pop and upside-down aerial backboard clear were really high level plays. If you're lower ranked don't get discouraged with virge saying everything is simple. RL is hard

@@AhmeddR6 Yes they are, but Diamond is not the average player level. Diamond 2 div 4 in 3v3 is top 16% of players, Diamond 3 div 4 in 2v2 is top 17% at this moment. Not saying I disagree with Virge about the simple plays - I am mechanically very bad but play rotation mostly with fixed team mates, just saying that you need to realize Diamond is not middle of the pack when it comes to players.

@@Stefvlaere you might be mechanically worse, but most diamonds i play against can do those things pretty consistently, thats why i was saying to the commenter that those things are not very hard for most diamonds.

I am champ 2 at 2s, champ 1 at 3s but only diamond 1 at 1s, I don't play 1s or 3s that often as I am a 2s main, but I wanna know why I am so bad at 1s :( I watch a lot of 1s videos and I am good at basic mechanics (Dribbles, flicks, power shots) but I still suck at 1s, can anyone help me?

Most people are at a lower rank in ones because every mistake is punished mush harder than in other game modes. Don’t be discouraged, it is perfectly normal for people to be a rank lower in ones.

@@abdulazizalsubaai9030 those people play mostly ones, so their positioning an game sense isn’t calibrated to playing with more than two people on the field. I am a ones main, and if I were to play ranked doubles or trios, my rank would end up lower because im not good at playing with a team.

Essentials for 1s: - good kickoff - good mechanics (especially fast recoveries) - boost starving opponents - keeping tight spacing to the ball (in other words, don't give free space for opponents to make their plays) - not flipping unnecessarily (in other words, don't put yourself in an irrecoverable position if you might lose a challenge) - shadow defense whenever you see opponents controlling the ball on top of their car - staying mostly grounded, since one can't do much in the air as in the ground - don't miss open nets xD

Can you please get big man. I'm so tired of ppl play 3s and are unable to organize a team. They mostly play super aggressiv 2s in 3s with a goalkeeper who end up in 1vsX situations. Cuting all day or they don't clear to teammates or they don't control the ball and hit it away when there is no danger or they panic hard or they do short post rotations and end up in double commits and don't understand why and think their're doing right. I'm really sick of 3s....

Okay i'm tilting out of my Mind pls do a checklist for 3vs3 like: - Last man buys time (control the ball) or clear it to a mate - if you don't have ball : LONG POST ROTATION BACK or FOOKIN TAKE PADS AND GET INTO POSITION FOR A PASS - don't defend backwards what means don't get overplayed (the guy behind ball is 3rd man) exeption : last man shadows - don't KICK THE DAMN BALL AWAY WITHOUT PURPOSE. make a fify if needed - BE AWARE WHERE YOU TEAMMATE ARE !!!!!!! - GOALKEEP FROM LONGPOST - 2nd guy should be on the horizonal other half then ball carrier. - ball guy's job is to get the ball on target OR get the ball past horizontal line (PASS TO TEAMMATE) - DON'T EVER USE 80 FOOKIN BOOST TO MAKE A GOD DAMN PLAY IN ENEMYS FOOKIN SPIDERMAN CORNER IF 2 MAN ARE IN GOAL AND ONE IS DEFENDING BACKBOARD GOD DAMMIT. - DON'T EVER DOUBLE COMMIT. KEEP SPACE TO YOUR TEAMMATE. - don't kick the ball of your teammates car (DoUbLe CoMmiT AND SpAcE) Get Free GC. Thanks.

That didn't look like literally any of my games in Diamond 3 the past year. Hanging back the whole game doesn't work at Diamond 3 unless you're a SSL and can play 4d chess. Smurfing. Shit advice. Unsubscribed.
