Just so everyone knows, historathon will be happening at the same time as nonfiction November. From Oct-Dec, the challenge is to read as much nonfiction history as you wish, about whatever topics and parts of the world you want, from 1820-present. It's hosted by people like Revenant Reads, Passage of Time, Read by Fred, and John David. You may want to read some history as part of Nonfiction November.

Oh yes, I tend to reread my favorite books during the exact months in which I read them originally. It's because I commit to memory not just the book but the whole experience, including the weather!

Have fun in your first nonfiction November! Do you know about historathon? It's a history reading challenge. In October-December, you read however much you want on whatever topics you want, on whatever parts of the world you want, having to do with history 1820-present. If that sounds good, maybe that could mix into your nonfiction reading a little bit. It's hosted by people like Passage of Time. youtube.com/@passageoftime8561?si=VuJmr46HbRw7glXk

I am looking forward to Nonfiction November! Definitely give yourself grace throughout this month. As for my October reading, I am participating in Victober and ready to start my Victorian reading. I am also just beginning Of Time and Turtles, which I hope to enjoy as much as you did.

When a book moves me I do tend to associate it with the time of year I read it. Not every book does this but some just become synonymous with certain times. I’m excited for non fiction November too. Hmm, guesses for challenges.....animals, space, earth, colors. October will be #victober plus dark academia plus spooky for me😊. Have a great week💕

Thank you for these out-of-the-box recommendations, Olive! I read I am Malala a few years back and I still remember some passages vividly (which, unfortunately, doesn't happen all too often...). 🍁

You should absolutely add "The Deadly Whisper" by Marie Dalgety to your TBR. It's like an Agatha Christie type mystery series set in an alternative history fictional Pacific Island with a young female detective who has a pet moa she rides around on. Brilliant book 💖 Enjoy your reading! 🥰
