Your cinematography is ridiculously good. I’m trying to make my videos this nice but it actually stresses me out thinking about all the different shots. Do you have any videos on HOW you make your videos? If not, that might be a good one for the future 😁 I’d love it. Your scheduling stuff was exactly what I needed to see this morning. I’ve been so stressed and part of it is because my scheduling habits have fallen to the side. I needed the reminder that writing down my to do’s is needed. I’m also not a morning person (I’m on hour two of laying in bed, myself, watching this video is the first thing I did on my phone) so I feel you. It’s so hard to leave a nice warm bed and get up to do things. Schoolism is awesome. I’m excited for you taking a class on there!

I second, third, fourth and fifth the motion for this kind of a video. Also, a little blurb on how you find and choose your music would be amazing. I love the cinematography definitely, but your soft voice and the thoughtful, interesting music was so relaxing. New sub here, after just one video.

Minnie, I want to take a moment for supremely thanking you for doing your own substitles. It's always a joy to read what you have said because I know its accurate, well written and just...ugh... it makes me SO HAPPY and I really really appreciate the work you put into accessibility. I'm partial hearing, so i also know you have what I call the most "ASM-Art" voice ever. I just can't hear details so your subtitles are PERFECT for filling in my hearing gaps and probably one of the best I've seen. Thank you so much for that touch of extra effort for the deaf community.

What an inspiring video! I like how you showed us what a realistic week looks like. Many artists would like us to think that they create amazing pieces of work every day and that they have all the time in the world but you’ve showed us that there are things happen in the week that we can’t control and that that is okay and to keep going^^

Your videos always help put me back into a productive mood. I seem to somehow always end up in slumps despite my very good intentions and at that moment, everything becomes an excuse for not picking myself up again. My flat doesn't feel cozy or it's dark outside at 4 already so I won't bother, or any other numerous reasons. But I am reminded each time to build habits that make me work in spite of lost motivation. Somehow your vlogs radiate peace and calm happiness and their atmosphere helps me clear my head and remember what is truly important to me. Thank you!

You're entire aesthetic, mood, visual etc. feels like my spirit. I love it.

I loved this vlog, I especially loved the culmination of seeing your night-in with friends. :) I really appreciate seeing how you not only organize, but problem solve. Especially when it's your own perspective or habits you realize need attention. You're very good at portraying such real life hiccups without anger or blame or any of the stuff I typically rail against when I'm upset with myself. It's a great, positive, attainable example for me on how to approach those things deliberately. Thanks for that!

On this cloudy rainy Sunday in New York, it was such a joy to watch your week unfold with a hot cup of coffee...there is always so much I learn about how to have a more consistent flow in my day to day, and you are such a calming presence...yes to more week in the life, yes to more how you balance your creative time with your work time, and yes to speed painting vids with voiceover...I always feel better after watching! Thank you! Your editing skills are stunning..your posts are like little movies...can't say enough

My favorite are the weekly vlogs. I love seeing both your creativity, and how it integrates into a life and business. I enjoy the speed paints, but the vlogs are what really keeps me coming back.

I really love your week in the life type videos as well as your shorter project/desk based videos. You're so professional, honest and seem like such a decent person. I really think you and Fran Meneses are the nicest people on the internet.

The thing that I really like about Minnie Small's videos is that although they seemingly look like many other illustrator/artists' studio vlogs, unlike them they're always packed with 'useful' info. I always find myself rewinding to discover a new book or a new app or a new machine or learn a new workflow. In a way her videos aren't just inspirational but also informative. Can't really describe how, there's just an overall feeling of being 'genuine' and 'practical'. At the same time of sharing useful info, she somehow manages to breakdown what goes into an illustrator's mind while they're working. Other artist's usually show you end results or how-to but they're mostly "I did this- here watch me do it" but hers is more of "this is how I did this, I'll show you what went into my mind while I did it". For example that one video where she packed so many orders. It was a long video that really really showed the hassle and struggle of packing so many orders. By the time the video was done, I really felt like I went through the hassle myself. Kinda feels like an artist documentary sometimes. A lot of effort goes into these videos. Really appreciate it. Thank you for sharing.

I love the life-is-strange vibe during the parts in which you do productive things with the nice music and the shots. This feeling is just so unique and relaxing

I love this kind of week in the life video. I really enjoy seeing people go through their days-especially creatives. I am a writer and I have some of the same struggles you have-needing to go out of the house more than I do. And getting together with people is really important for me. My husband works late, so we have something of a similar schedule to what you guys have. Thank you!

I absolutely love watching your videos when you talk about the inside scene of working as an artist from home. I find it very calming to hear you discuss productivity and any set backs you may have. You always seem to keep your videos very authentic and open which is something I really appreciate as someone who wants to go into this field of work. Also just as a plus, your videos are super well edited and really relaxing during all of my art finals in college haha! :)

Finding a new video in your channel always make my day! I love the painting videos as well as the vlogs, it is great to see how your art work being created in front of us, I don't believe that painting videos are not popular or requested anymore, it depends on the artist and his/her artwork ,repeated artworks could get boring, on the opposite your artworks are very interesting and creative and quite new ideas. the vintage furniture paintings and the houses were amazing. but at the end you do what you are inspired to do and I am sure we will always enjoy the outcome.

It is awesome watching you get on to the next phase in your life. Congrats on your new home!

Agreed. I’m not into art & watch because she’s an entrepreneur, which I am into massively. This video actually helped in my entrepreneurial walk as I was struggling with how to navigate my days & being hard on myself for stuff like waiting ages on the phone to deal with tradesmen, making time to cook, clean etc

I LOVE this kind of week in the life style of video. I'm also a fan of the process or big project finish videos that you do. They feel really special and like a culmination of a big job well done.
