Getting Cigarette smell off barbie
I bought this barbie cheap on E-bay. I did not read the description about the fact it was from a smoking home. I do not smoke. I tried so many things to get this doll to smell better. They all kind of worked but in the end I think I need to do the all over again and soak for longer. Cigarette smoke is NASTY stuff.
If you know of any other ways to get the smell off of a Barbie let me know. In the end I did get her to smell Less like smoke but she is not 100% better sadly.

This gave me some new tips. I just moved out of my mother's house and everything is stinky from her cigarettes. Now I'm in the process of cleaning over 840 Barbies.

The best way is to use 1 to 1 ammonia and water, soak for 1/2 hour then rinse in cool vinegar water. The final rinse in plain water and a teaspoon fabric softener
Gonzo odor eliminating rocks... Put one sack of them into a plastic bag with the doll and leave it for a few months. Be patient.
