Badger's main group generally consists of Eekaj, Grouse, and Heavenly. He does play with others yes, but his core group is with those guys. They all play games together to Have fun Talk shit And poke fun at each other. They generally all have the same type of thought process, which is why they get along so amazingly. There are times I WISHED I had a group of friends that feel like they are this close together.

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Generally the first video he does for a specific game will be like this one, about half going over mechanics for new players (from his generally brain dead newb perspective) and half shitposting. After that he just goes ham. And a couple years ago he got a $26k motion capture suit and has the most fun using it in videos. His recording/posting schedule is usually about a week of playing a game on stream to get footage then another 4-6 weeks of motion capture and editing.

I am so happy that they are watching RussianBadger. He is so hilarious

I’ve been waiting for this for so long! I’m glad you guys finally got to it! Also a side note, Badger has three more Payday 2 videos: Reject Cloaker. Return to Monke (Sociopath Perk Deck video, second Payday 2 video) Human Rock Basically Too Drunk To Die (Stoic Perk Deck, third Payday 2 video) Clowns Robbing Banks With Spoons (last Payday 2 video); definitely recommend them as well. Another side note, Cloakers are LITERALLY PTSD for most of us. The haunting WOLOLOLOLOLO sound they emit while charging is… just haunting.

I had a friend that apparently stopped playing payday 4 years ago after playing it for a year or so, we were hanging out and I was watching a meme that had the Cloaker sound. He proceeded to jolt up causing him to fall off his chair, so saying the sound causes PTSD isn’t wrong.

TheRussianBadger is the holy grail of content with funny people and jokes in the group along with the godlike editing and effort that goes into the videos and overall production. Hopefully y'all like it, would love to see more!

Russian Badger takes some getting used to, his comedy is high speed (not as much as Max0r, but fast enough that it can be hard to follow the conversations he has with his group) and is unafraid to take shots at everyone and everything. Despite his high skill level, he views himself as a casual player and loves to explain things in casual terms because it will appeal to and apply to way more people, and as long as more people are having fun, then he sees it as a win all around. The guy oozes positivity, even if that positivity is somewhat aggressive. If I had to recommend one of the best videos to get to know him, I recommend his Fallout New Vegas video. That video (and a certain Max0r video) was what got me into his content.

Some big facts about Badger. -He's Canadian and now lives in Seattle Washington -He's in his 30's(born in '92) -He is 6,4 ft -Has a brother who is 6,8 ft called Austin - He's married -As of his Star Wars Battlefront 2 video, he uses a 26k dollars motion capture suit along with 5k dollar motion capture gloves combined with SFM for fluid movements especially in his shitposts. Before that time he used frame by frame movements - He completed at least basic level Marine training but decided to drop out to follow a bussiness degree.

You mentioned being interested in the story.... oh man, its a wild, wacky rabbit hole. BUT if youre really curious the Knowley has a good series of videos breaking down the story/arg elements of payday2 story. It would probably make a good series for you guys to do since theyre broken down into 10 or so chronological videos! Would love to see yall react to that!

You guys should definitely give Payday 2, it's a complete blast with how nutty things get, especially in a group of friends! I've never been jumpscared harder by complete accident, and it was a silent cloaker hiding under a stairwell not making a single sound, in the dark, collecting illegal firearms, alone hauling all the weapons back to the getaway, with over 1000 hours of play time. All my friends heard was cloaker screech, followed by an ear piercing scream over the mic, saw I was downed. They legitimately thought I may have died from a heart attack, because they revived me and I didn't move for 5 minutes...they don't know it, but I had to change my pants after that.

There is no story. Well technically there is, but it's told through these exact heists and missions that Badger already showed you. The story includes eldrich gods and other crazy insanities and most of it requires coordinated teamplay. Your chosen character is basically just what your body looks like, what type of suits you wear and how your voicelines sound.

Ah okay. Only reason we thought there was a story is because people in past have recommended a cut scene or playthrough or some type of story movie that is 4 hours long 😅

Fun Fact: The cloaker has amazing lore in the game. its pretty much started as one dude joining the police force, using almost a ninja like fighting style all whilst being laughed at for doing so, but he was so good at his job, the higher ups asked him to train a whole squadron of cloakers. so now we have profanity spewing, baton wielding acrobats after us.

Oh I'm absolutely looking forward to more TheRussianBadger reactions. My personal favorites are his 2 Star Wars Battlefront 2 videos and his Fallout New Vegas video.

I will say Badger is a crazy energy rush. I really hope to see more of Badger here. His videos are always high energy with a group of friends just messing around doing stupid shit as often as possible. They have some dark jokes every now and then LOL. I fully recommend the TABG Videos, Star Wars Battlefront 2 videos, and his one off videos like the COD, Insurgency: Sandstorm, and Enlisted.

Love the fact that more often than not Bethany has a mild concerned look, while ken is either curious or or downright amused by what’s happening on screen, especially when the absurdity on screen is cranked up

As far as characters go, there's the core gang, additional heisters they acquire along the way, and, several movie crossovers (John Wick, Scarface, Hardcore Henry, Pointbreak [2015], ect.), technically there is a canon to which people did which jobs but there is much debate on who was where at a lot of points.

I just wanna say these, this video came at the perfect moment for me, when i started playing payday 2 for some months, but i needed someone to explain it to me :))))) after this video by RussianBadger, i just become unstopable :))

Funny enough you can build your mini-gun to have decent concealment for what it is just another example of how batshit crazy Payday 2 is.

Russian Badger is so talented. He always ups his game and tries to bring out the best for whatever video he tries to bring out. My personal favorites are the star wars videos he has made. The battlefront video's are hilarious and always fun to watch. Would recommend it.

My favorite reaction couple (at this point my fav reaction channel) reacting to my favorite KZreadr!? This is a glorious day.

Payday 2 is really fun with friends. I used to play it alot with a "Sociopath" Build. Basically I'm really good with short range weapons and melee. With it, I use a Flamethrower I can quickly reload and a shotgun.

There's a bunch of hilarious gameplay channels out there, with some of the best ones being sovietwomble, fitz and their crew, the vanoss crew and smitty and thedoos group. I'd definitely recommend soviet womble's golf it videos or specifically his rocket league bullshittery to see a perfect example of what his videos are all gonna be like xD. They're hilarious as well.

Oh dear Lord, this rabbit hole. Or Badger hole, I guess... You two are sitting atop a mountain of great content to push through, and I can guarantee you'll enjoy the journey of Badger.

So the game doesn't have story, it has arcs where its 3-4 missions that are linked, but its a lot of small adventures and one off heists that the story comes from "HOW DO WE GET OUT OF THIS WITH OUR LIVES AND THE CASH!?!??????!?"

What i also like about payday 2 is the soundtracks that have been composed for this game. They are truly amazing. Badger showed some of them in this video, but there are just so much more. I recommend maybe having a listen to a few of them if you get the chance to, true master pieces

My brain is just destroyed after so long of watching his content since his battlefield video and I just understand all of them saying that i can predict what are they saying. But still thanks for reacting to him, his a lot of fun to watch and some context he has a twitch stream, when he plays he always with these exact guys on discord, he takes a lot of time making his videos cause he likes quality and fun things in it, and overall he really is great guy with a big heart. So the story for Payday 2 is a trip and a half. Basically the game was built where who you chose to be your heister doesn't matter, so character never matters and neither does what mask you use. The story is basically (without spoilers) "Do X heist and here is why" but at the end of the day, it doesn't really matter. The heist isn't really changed with context. The later parts of the story start to get VERY weird, mixing in lore from Left for Dead and the John Wick universe, because who was writing for the game change a LOT

I love this, this feels like a fever deam. Never thought I would see the Russian badger on this channel

Both of his Warhammer videos are probably the best on his channel in my opinion or one of the best. One's called heavy flamer heresy I believe and I can't remember the other one but he'll show it in the beginning of that video. They're two completely different games so you don't have to watch one before the other. But I think y'all will love it

YO RussianBadger "This is where the Fun begins" All his videos are great but I'd say continue his Payday series, and you guys have seen Battlefront 2 stuff so I recommend his two Battlefront videos, it's also when he starts using a motion capture suit for his videos

I’ve been loving Max0r and Badger videos for a while now, but I just recently stumbled across Let’s Game It Out and I know these two would really love the insane attempts at game breaking on that channel. The Cooking Simulator / Chef Life videos? I found it hard to breathe after the laughing fits those triggered… 😆

There's more Payday videos from Badger if you're interested for more, I don't think the other ones are quite as tutorial-y and more on talking about the wackier stuff in the game. Also Cloakers are the bane of my existence.. I have to be the only person in the world to get sideways groundpounded three times in a row on a regular bases..

Badger and the boys are hilarious, but I will say they can be on the rough side at times. Folks with more tender sensibilities may not always appreciate their off-the-cuff jokes. That being said, I try to tune in every time he uploads. Glad you guys have enjoyed a taste of his style!

I think it'd be really cool if you guy's checked out the entire Payday timeline before the third game drops in september. There's a really captivating storyline video by a guy named TheKknowely, it's long about 4 hours if I remember right but you could probably make it multi part if you wanted too.

There is this guy The Kknowley and he has the whole Payday 2 lore. I think you guys should check it out.

In general he has so much good content that I would say watch him every chance you get.

My dude everytime I hear the cloaker sound my fight or flight kicks in. Like I was playing this vid in the background while I was playing another game, and as soon as I heard the cloaker sound I whipped my camera around looking for one. I knew it'd come up but I still wasn't prepared.
