War Thunder was one of the first games we reacted to. We aren’t big war game aficionados so didn’t really continue but we did enjoy the trailers we saw 😅

my favorite thing that wasn't mentioned is the director. In the game there is an ai called the director, the job of the director is to change the game based on how the players are doing. If your team is having too easy of a game? It may spawn a tank or a hoard of zombies. If you are having terrible luck, it may give you things like health items or op weapons. Sometimes it even gives the players alternative routes that lead to the same end. It makes the game very replayable due to the fact that everything that can be picked up is randomized each play through and the pacing is never stale.

L4D common zombies get blasted apart intelligently based on how you hit them and what you hit them with. This seems to be tied to the entity models because, swapping them out with mods removes this feature entirely. Which makes me sad. But hey! There's still nothing quite like building a team of USCM grunts, swapping out your common infected with xenomorphs and pretending like you're playing Aliens vs Predator. LoL :P Also, doggo is cute. I love doggo and his tube of shame. ^_^

43 different ways a common infected be damaged, and you can combine 2, leading to 780 unique damage combinations. Truly an unnecessary amount of effort put in, but it sure does show.

My favorite mod I've used was just changing the infected into Pokemon. I have seen a grinning Gengar vanish when i shot it and shot hordes of Zubats. It is a blast.
