I had SMA syndrome which I know you had a video about and I couldn’t eat or drink for 8 months. I had a surgical G/J tube placed with only local anesthesia which is the most traumatic experience of my life. You definitely inspire me to make lemonade when life gives you lemons

I am pissed just watching this. I don't know how you remained so calm and handled your mistreatment w/grace. I would've exploded. That was indefensible. I'd be looking into legal action once things calm down. Thank you for sharing your journey, good/bad/ugly. You are so incredibly strong. I'm praying for you💙.

COVID or no Covid, surely there are minimum levels of patient care a hospital must be able to provide. If they couldn’t handle your treatment, they should have transferred you to a hospital that could ASAP. Having a seizure and not having one staff member notice is horrifying. Stay strong, I’m not in America but we have a Medical Ombudsman in Australia where you can lodge complaints about doctors/patient care etc - I would certainly encourage you to follow whatever process your state has to make medical complaints as the care (or rather the lack of care) you received is unacceptable.

I’m so sorry this is happening to you with the hospital staff! If you lived in Colorado Springs the staff at penrose hospital are great people! The doctors are nice and the nurses too I wish you the best!

Hey love! Stay strong I know what it’s like being in the hospital for so long it’s not easy or fun at all. If you don’t mind me asking which hospital you were at because I noticed your Towson shirts and I’m from Maryland as well. Some of the these doctors are clueless so you really do have to advocate and stand up for yourself if what they are doing isn’t right and do your research! I hope Hopkins is better I hear they are pretty good. Always hear to talk 💗

I have Epilepsy and I won't go to the ER unless I have multiple seizures and if I'm not recovering from the seizures because the hospital never does anything for my seizures so its more anxiety and PTSD symptoms than I can handle when they refuse to help me. It's a crap shoot when you have 4+ seizures and another 2 in the ER and nothing is being done to stop seizures from continuing 🙄 😑

I was just diagnosed with gastroparesis and have been in and out of the hospital. All I’ve learned is that doctors really don’t care most of the time unfortunately. Hopefully will get a NJ tube or something soon. Thank you for sharing your story I feel less alone. 💞💞💞

That is crazy that you had a seizure by yourself. Just crazy that they weren't their for you. I love the show you mentioned I just started watching. I am so sorry all this happened to you. Love you hugs.

I no how you feel about this I have been poked so mini times two so I know how you feel I’m sorry girl

You should owner train your own service dog. I have mine for epilepsy, she is seizure response, PTSD response and mobility. I trained my girl since she was 7 weeks old. Heart rate can be trained by scent and use a q tip when your heart rate is somewhat normal and when its high and put the samples in a bag and mark them and then have the dog find the high and low samples and treat them when finding high and low. And seizure response is easy too.

I hope you get better as a 14 year old gril that as a service dog for different things including heat rate problems I asked my mom and see if we can donate money to help you.im so sorry about the hospital stay that you had to go though I hope it gets better.and you get what will help you
