When I picked up my DB9 Volante from the dealership, the first thing I played was the original James Bond theme. My wife turned to me and said 'You sad git" lol. How right she was.

How could anyone not love the opening? Very funny indeed. I am so happy for you! What a superb way to tie everything together for you. The Vantage V-8 is a beautiful automobile with the kind of lines that every "car guy" would love. Not too shabby on the power either. My CL 55 AMG might have more power and deliver faster 0 to 100 km/h times, but only my engine is hand built and your entire car is hand built! Then there's the alcantara headliner in your Vantage, I don't get to have that in my Teutonic sled (poor me), LOL! Honestly, even without the Bondian tie in, the Vantage is simply one of the most gorgeous automobiles designed since the year 2000. It's a car that will last you the rest of your life if well cared for, as I KNOW you will care for it. One other item is worth noting and you know this as well as I do, "Where would either of us be without the lovely woman next to us and enjoying every minute of The Bond Experience with us?" I know I don't have to answer that rhetorical question for either of us. Clearly we're both blessed with partners that make life worth living, n'est-ce pas? Brilliant choices in; automobiles, attire and the most critical, and thereby the most brilliant choices of all, our wives! Here's a toast to our very own Bond women in our lives, Cheers!

I’d love to know how the delivery driver gained access to the car whilst it was encased in the confines of the trailer. How on earth did he manage to get in it when there appeared to be only inches to spare either side? How did he open the drivers door wide enough? You have yourself a beauty there...one of our finest exports. I live some 20 miles from the factory. What a crying shame I’ll never be lucky enough to own an Aston. Well done. You’re living your dream.

Beautiful car and very belated congrats (I only recently discovered your channel). Did I see a Carrera lurking in your garage also? I've been thinking about selling my E92 M3 and looking for a Vantage very similar to yours. I must say your taste in cars is very strong. (But I don't think I would fight 009 too much for the Aston. She will probably win.Lol )

David, Congrats on the Vantage and thanks for all your videos and 007 insight! I just recently traded up from a 2005 DB9 to a 2012 V8 Vantage S (both silver, obviously). If you ever need any additional resources for Aston's let me know. I'm sure you have heard of a bunch, but Redpants.lol has a great blog and youtube channel that is very helpful for AM owners and he can also get most parts. Also, there are some really cool modifications that can be made to the earlier interiors to give them that extra something, such as aluminum knobs, glass buttons, and customized door sill plaques. I had a custom door sill plaque made that had the MI6 logo and British flag engraved on it. Also, the forums over at 6speedonline are really informative, too. Any questions on ownership or anything don't hesitate to contact me. Ethan
