Agree that it's best about Thailand but for overall, I have to give Project Farm as the best on YT. I also like that fella name Richy from the UK...he gives a good and respectful low budget view of Thailand and how to do it.

I had some major dental works in saigon last year. I had 32 crowns fitted and it cost around 6 thousand dollars. Very good quality work and all done iin 8 days. Highly recommended to do your dental woorks in asia. You can include your holiday into it and still spend much less then in the states

Your muscling in on my territory😀I use the laundry shop 2 doors from the 69 buffet shop every saturday. At the top of that road is a new restaurant. It seems very popular. My daughter thinks it is one of those Master Chefs. At the far end of the beach road there is a swimming pool for 100 baht a day. Direct access to the beach. Thats should the weather improve

Yes - I have had lots of dental work done in BKK and Hua Hin. Always top quality at very reasonable prices. Most dentists trained in the U.S.

Lucas, while you might get many requests for dentistry information, the reason I love your videos is your ability to sniff out cheap street food, so each video of yours that I watch gives me more reasons to get back there on holiday

This video was very good!! I was in Rayong last week, like it, considering moving there. But, I noticed in the beginning that you had your keys on the table!! That is a no no, can be very bad luck, ghosts can come in the nighttime 😂😂

I've had some dental work done in TH and not only is it much cheaper than the UK, the Thai Dentist (Your Dentist on 3rd Rd) was IMO far better than any UK or European dentist I've previously seen.

hi Lucas. would be interested in seeing prices for implants as i'm thinking of getting 2 or 3 when i'm over there .... or i could just look it up myself and see that it's about 1/3rd the price compaired to canada. have my next trip loosely planed with any luck hopefully we can meet up. we did meet once briefly at the A7 during the April meet up. and again shortly after. will look forward to seeing Lan smile again with her new tooth.

Darn right about the dentistry , Veeners in Australia was quoted $20k AUD, in Bangkok is was $6500

Definitely will save a few baht on your dining expenses there in the sticks. Looks like the market has a lot of choices too. Congrats to Lan on the big order. 🙂

Sounds good, I was always a fan of the rotisserie henchen and kartofel Salat in Deutchland.

Laan smiles even when she's not smiling. That pad kra pow goong looked good. Any variety of pad kra pow is good. I'm always skeptical of the petri dish street food. Should be Hot or Cold, not body temp. You know you're far from Pataya when the signs have no English on them. Cheers!

We use a place in Hua Hin that does a really good job with cleanings, fillings…etc, but I know when we were in Bangkok my wife told me not to come inside the dentist because if they seen a farang the price would go up😬??…..looks like you are settling in nicely in the Rayong!

Funny you should mention about the cost of a tooth replacement. I am heading to the dentist here in Phoenix, Arizona for a dental issue -- and possible (hope not) tooth replacement. I know for a fact that the price tag would NOT be even close to that, for the co-pay or deductible alone, not including the tooth!

@@thefonzkiss No kidding, but I am swamped at work. Not an option. Found out I won't need a replacement tooth, thank God. But the cost for the treatment in USD is...One Thousand Nine Hundred dollars, out of pocket! I could fly to Thailand and back AND get treatment, whilst enjoying great food and visiting with friends for a week for THAT cost!

A couple months ago I had a root canal, and complete crown procedure done on the other side of the bay for about $450 US. The same thing in the US would have cost 2 - 3 thousand dollars.

It cost me AU$10k for one tooth. Damn...Thailand is looking better by the day.

Well it's good to know it's nice and quiet in Rayong and that you and Ran can't find anything to do or anywhere to go there lol 😉🤣🤣

I had a front tooth rebuilt in Bangkok Hospital Pattaya (Sukhomvit Road, North Pattaya) last year and it was about £85 (฿4000) including the X-rays and a scale & polish. Probably would've been £350+ in the UK!

Lucas string trimming the grass in shorts is a no no. I learn the hard way when a small stone stuck in my shin.

Hope lab got a new tooth at a reasonable price, I need to find a good dentist to get a few fillings redone, and possibly 2 implants do you know a place for good fillings Lucas, thank you Lucas you and your lady have a great day 🙏

We will find out Robert, she's been calling around and networking in some Thai groups so I'm fairly sure the one we eventually go to will be decent.

Get a robotic lawn mower. They are priced from 10.000 Baht to 100.000 Baht depending on area, inductive parameter cable or gps controlled. Cuts every day just a couple of millimetres so no need to collect any waste, lawn always perfect.

Dental is about 1/10 of the price of North America, depending on what you get done, it is literally cheaper to fly to Thailand from Canada and get dental work and have a vacation, best to wait till you and your wife both need several procedures, you will save $4,500 alone on an implant, if you need more than one implant you are literally saving close to $10,000. I would always get an implant, great option to a plate or partial or root canal, unless you are a smoker, then forget teh implant.

Red ant eggs are really good, ask your GF/wife for "koi khai mot daeng", that's my favorite. The mushroom are called "het thoop", and sometimes Thai truffles, although they grow underground they are not related to real truffles, but delicious non the less. They usually go for about 600 thb/kg

My dentist said I would be losing a tooth in the next year or two in a process called "resorption".

Lucas, it looks like your girlfriend is shopping for a bridge. A couple years ago I had to have a tooth pulled out because the roots died. Already had a root canal done on that tooth with a crown. I could’ve gone for a bridge, which would’ve been about 40% cheaper. But I talked to my sister. She convinced me to get an implant. A bridge needs other teeth to connect to. And if those teeth go bad, the entire bridge has to be taken out. Don’t believe any Dentist that tells you an implant can be placed in your mouth in one day. The bad tooth has to come out one month of healing. Then you may need a gum grafting. One month of healing. The actual implant is screwed into your jaw one month of healing. then finally you have the crown connected to the post. And you’re done.

My brother got front implants here &it cost him 600pounds😊

As a normal worker, i'm feeling rich in Thailand, will be my place when i retire

on par with some of the islands, the strong tide stirs up sediment certain times of the year but fairly clear water generally.

Where are you living now Lucas ?

GBP 0.17p for soup and 1.48p for buffet, there can't be any room for profit as they have to buy water, gas and recipe items, so how do they survive week after week. I know it's Thailand, but things don't come free, and home items like rent and water and electric are needed.
