Getting a New Catio! Amazon pre-fab Aivituvin catio, and Ideal Pet Products chubby cat window door
In this video, we introduce all our cats to their new outdoor space and they each get a brief background introduction. 3 calicos: Fenry, Fiest, Cloud ; Siamese: Calcifer ; Russian blue (mix?): Freya
We bought the amazon pre-fab Aivituvin catio, and Ideal Pet Products chubby cat window door. It took us way longer to build since things weren't properly labeled, and we had to figure things out. One of the sides ended up upside down so we drilled new holes. The pet window door fit perfectly! We bought some window locks to keep our home more secure while open as well. Overall, not bad for a pre-fab catio.

I love YOUR love for your kitties!! I can hear it in your voice. Best part of your video. So happy they can have supervised outdoor time in their new catio. PS I have 9; I can tell when there’s genuine love for your fur babies. ❤

Aw, that's so sweet! It's so nice to have such a positive recognition 😄When people ask if I have children I always say, "5 cats!" haha. Wow, 9! Lots of love. Hard not to want to save them all

Thanks! We know ourselves, (we're not builders/crafty), so pre-fab was the way to go. 😂 but we're happy with it!

Yes! They are indoor only as their safety is very important to me. I'm a cautious cat mom 😅 so this catio was the perfect solution for allowing them to enjoy the outdoors 😁
I have a rescue cat found on a construction site and I named him Uncle Feisty. Well, there was a momma and two kittens. Little did I know she was prego again! So he became an "uncle" (really a half brother)

Nice! I'm going to look into this. Is the cat entrance adjustable? I would prefer to use a basement window. Maybe put a piece of artificial turf on the floor?

The window-door conversion we got has springs that can adjust to the width of the window, but I would measure just to make sure it's compatible.

Yes, but it's what we could afford. The multiple levels helps a lot, they'll usually all find a place to settle and enjoy.

I agree! But it was going to be several hundred more for that 😅 for now, it's something. And they love it! The shelf levels help as they'll all situate at different heights and places.
You could extend it out more as there are so many cats I have two built my own catio out of rabbit hutch fencing and some extra wood it’s 4ft wide x 8ft long x4 ft high for two cats, I’m extending it as they still don’t have enough room to run and jump about, will give another Three ft high and two ft wide two ft long.

It would definitely be nice to give them more space, especially since we have so many cats. I imagine a "cat run" add-on would be great! Thanks for the tip! 😊 where do you get rabbit hutch fencing??
