In todays video, I thought it would be a nice idea to share some book recommendations! These are all books that got me out of a reading slump and made me fall in love with books and reading again. Sometimes you just need the right book, or in this case, the right book recommendation to get you back into reading!
These are all fairly new book recommendations of books that I read in the last few year and they really impacted me and stayed with me.I have tried to include something for everyone, from various genres, so i hope you enjoy the video and hopefully you see something you want to check out and you can get your reading back on track ☺️

I'm trying to get back into reading and recently got stuck in a rut. Your synopsis of each book made them sound so interesting, I'm going to see if my library has a couple of them now!

We’ve all been there! Sometimes it can be frustrating if you read a few mediocre books back to back. I love that you’re checking your library first ☺️🫶 hope you get your hands on one and enjoy it 💕
Really great synopses! Great choices as well! CSW was such a quick read, and I loooved it (well, I needed the ending bc of a certain someone...) but it was a first for me with a female character who isn't necessarily a "hero/role model" and that was really refreshing. Oh, and I have Almond on the tbr bc - well, you said it 😥 Will (finally) read Babel for a prompt in April 🙌 I feel like I get into a slump when books don't live up to my expectations, but then I (mostly) still want to finish reading and it'll take me aaages... Anyway, thank you for the recs! Your synopses of the books are spoiler-free and still give a good idea of what to expect, so I love that for all of us 🍀

Thanks friend! I feel the same re reading slumps, if a book was meh or was over hyped it really puts me in a weird place where I’m needing a break from reading, or nothing is too quality. I think you’ll really enjoy almond if you liked CSW 💖

@@whatraereads Good to know! I really think so too ♥ Oh, those meh reads are just not it... It really does change how I feel going into a new one, it takes away a little of the anticipation - but then a break can instead get the excitement back where you forget the L and move on to sth better (fingers crossed)
