Thanks for the valuable information. When you say there is a standard rebate applied, does this mean they deduct or subtract this percentage in order to determine your taxable income? Is this separate from the estimated payments already sent to Urssaf?

Hi Jacquelyn, they apply the rebate to your turnover to assess your business income. Whenever you declare to URSSAF or Impots, you always enter your sales, just know that this is what they use to assess your income. As a Micro Entrepreneur, you already pay your social charges to URSSAF (going towards your health cover, pension and training fund). Some people also pay the income tax at source called "impot libératoire", if you do, you pay an extra 1% for sales, 1.7% for manual services or 2.2% for profession libérale. If that's your case, just know that you still need to fill in a French income tax form in May, but that you won't be taxed again.
