Alex I’m about to say something super bold….but are you our generations Barbara Walters? You’re giving us soooo many helpful interviews that are changing the world ❤ Also as someone who is chronically fatigued and been trying to get help for 10 years, I appreciate you asking him that question. Reducing gluten has helped a little bit but I feel ya Alex! It was hard at first but now I’m so use to avoiding it. Xoxo

Amazing episode, I myself have had really horrible fertility issues. High estrogen and low progesterone. I did one round of IVF and had no success. Had 35 eggs extracted and my husbands test came back normal. Well during the fertilization phase i only had 4 eggs get fertilized and two survived and were transferred. Devastated is an understatement, the amount of medication I was on and how badly I reacted to being on birth control for a month. It was truly a horrible experience with no baby and no answer. I felt like I was a cog in the machine. Paying thousands of dollars, and I still have no answers. Videos like this are really enlightening and are comforting. Keep up the amazing work Alex!

I've had chronic health issues for over 10 years including migraine, infrequent period, joint pain, insomnia etc and I asked my primary care to do the labs and she said she didn't want to cause she "didn't know how to interpret some of the obscure ones" and that it wasn't necessary. I did it anyway and found out I have had lyme all this time. Do the labs!!! Don't listen to your conventional doctors!!

I have Hashimotos too, Alex! I've dramatically changed my lifestyle and eating, and I'm still on medication, but I have hardly any symptoms. I'm so glad you did this interview. I'm gluten-free and dairy free. Alex, you'll feel so much better. Gluten doesn't hurt my stomach, but it gives me terrible anxiety. I've also been skinny my whole life. When I first got my diagnosis, I needed time to grieve it. So give yourself that time. But then put your big girl panties on and get into healthy mode. I lost a baby to undiagnosed Hashimotos. I've had 5 healthy babies since. ❤ Praying for you!

I started to reach out to a Wellness Way clinic in my area last year when you first had Dr. Flynn on but never followed through on setting up the appointment. I have dealt with chronic fatigue for over a decade with no answers from the medical world and am on thyroid medicine. Soon after, I became pregnant for the first time and miscarried. It might be unrelated, but I'm pregnant again, and THIS time, I'm going to make sure my hormones are on track, just in case. I have an appointment Monday and I'm so excited! This was a Godsend. Unlike the medical practitioners of Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine, Natural Hygiene, German New Medicine, and Naturopathic Medicine, traditional allopathic medical doctors are NOT taught to identify the root cause of disease. They aren't even taught how to view the human body as a whole entity, just individual, compartmentalized parts. Holism and root cause are NOT part of the Rockefeller curriculum that American medical schools are based off of. They are only taught how to treat symptoms with pharmaceuticals. They keep Big Pharma in business. Additionally, they receive less than a week of nutrition education in their 4 years of medical school. The cult of the medics stays afloat by profiting off of disease and fear, not curing or empowering. They need to go. The only good they serve is for emergency surgery, and even then, if the surgery is needed due to a chronic issue rather than a car accident, there are more competent fields out there to actually treat the root cause of the chronic disease emergency.

I eat 110 grams of protein a day because I weigh 110. I had to teach myself to eat more for months and months. A portion isn’t also as big as people think. I eat a “ketovore” diet most of the time due to autoimmune disease (celiac). It was really hard at first in 2012 but it’s gotten much better since then. I have to be “that person” or I’m sick for a week and a half if I try to not turn it into a big deal. Make it a big deal for your health. You’ll thank yourself ten fold later.

Its surprisingly i dont have celiac disease, but i eat einkorn wheat almost on a regular bases! Its more healthier and digestible! Its pesticide free as well. Im gluten free outside of my home, but when I'm at home and have something containing wheat, i do einkorn.

Hi, this is Dr. Lucas, I'm with Dr. Patrick in Green Bay. I'm so sorry you've been suffering like this. Have you had anyone come alongside and help you at least reduce some of the inflammatory components of what's going on?

@@TheMustachedDocThank you for your kind reply. I have been followed by several teams of doctors throughout the year, but only one has attempted to find the root cause and reduce inflammation, but she’s been stumped. I’ve been diagnosed with Hashimotos, Graves, MCTD, interstitial lung disease, and I’ve tested positive for many antibodies that don’t fit other certain diagnoses. I feel burnt out at this point. The analogy that describes it best is imagine that every day and night, there’s some mysterious person that comes and messes with or steals something in your home. The police can’t figure it out, the detectives get you excited that they’ll figure something out but they never do, and every time you turn your back, something else is taken. You try and solve the puzzle yourself but you just feel worse after all the sleepless nights. After a while you lose trust in everyone and start to detach from everything. It’s hard not to be cynical.

Studies have shown that eggs, meat, and dairy increase estrogen in men and women due to high saturated fat content. Hormones and antibiotics in meats do the same. Most diseases are due to oxidative stress and high saturated fat in the diet. All animal products cause oxidative stress and are full of saturated fat. If you're having hormonal issues try eliminating meat, dairy, and eggs for a month and test your hormones before and after the break to see the difference for yourself.

Well, that's partially true. The majority of commercial meat (and tap water) are produced in such a way and exposed to a lot of things that ultimately pass into the meat you eat. We've had cancer patients whose markers were increasing until they switched their meat from commercial to organic grass fed.

I’m shocked that Alex thinks 50g is a lot of protein. Eat 1g per lb body weight is actually a quiet conservative number. Don’t listen to the federal “guidance” that says 0.6 to 0.8g protein per lb is “recommended”. Don’t listen to the people saying that >1g of protein per lb body causes kidney failure (it’s not true, especially not for a majority of the population who aren’t in renal failure). Don’t listen to the propaganda that says Americans eat too much protein. Everyone is different and has different appetites and palates and such so I understand how eating 100+ g everyday can be hard, but it’s a habit that can be developed with time and practice.

Last annoying azz comment lol promise… I just can’t help it… Alex… autoimmune issues are a combination of things… it’s an overactive immune system bc there are TOXINS & PATHOGENS in ur body that have gone on too long. You definitely have an imbalanced microbiome. So you need to rebalance microbiome & detox as the two major factors to focus on although there’s more to it. That’s why ur joints ache prob toxins trapped in the tissue & causes irritation until they’re removed which I know exactly how to do.

  • @britt6084

Once u rebalance microbiome. You can eat gluten it’s just for. While u need to starve the pathogens and gluten/wheat tends to feed pathogenic overgrowth bc carbs convert to sugar & they eat sugar. Good ones eat sugar too so that’s why it’s not bad FOREVER just during the initial kill off
