I have chronic dry mouth, doctors and dentist dismissed me, said go chew gum. I had a root canal done years ago and I know it's what causing it. This is a horrible thing to have , especially doctors don't take you seriously

I am having dry mouth since 18 months and I have been to ENT as well but they never diagnosed me anything. What they told me is this is because my mouth keeps open when I sleep. I asked my wife if my mouth opens at night and it is no! So, it is bothering me a lot. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!! Let me clear this as well- I don’t have bad breath and also my dentists says my oral hygiene is good.

My mouse is alway dry

I went to my doctor who referred me to an ear nose and throat doctor that said I had oral thrush and I did the meds and still have trouble with dry mouth and throat and when I told him and told him and asked why he said good question. I never got a diagnosis as to what caused it . and still have the problem . What test can I have done to find out ?the oral thrush is gone so it's not that .

Dry mouth and oral thrush is different. Oral thrush is typically HIV or Candida. Please get blood test done.

i drink 25 bottle 600ml of water a day is not good. i have a dry mouth all the time. i did have myelold meukemia and i had chemo and im all good today but dry mouth im just sick of it im sick having water all the time and having a good sleep than i need to get up to have a pee, i seen my doctor to get pills for it and she sed is no pills for it,

My doctor gave me a perscription for dry mouth.One of the side effects was sweating, so I never took any of it. I started using Therabreath mouthwash for dry mouth(got this at Wal-Mart) This stuff works. Hope this helps😁

@@phyzyc6765 The effects are for as long as you use it. There is a night stand version for sleeping and a portable version for travel, working and exercise. I flew out of country with mine with no issue, it being a medical device. It is a mechanical device that mimics the natural salivary system. If you have CHRONIC dry mouth like me, my saliva system was destroyed by radiation, I have no "spit", you'd want to get this thing. If you have common dry mouth, do something else.
