Your hair looks great! We have well water so my hair can get yellow tint. I found ACURE Ionic Blonde Color Wellness - it's Vegan and certified cruelty-free. Also Paraben-free, Sulfate-free, Mineral oil-free, Petrolatum free, and Formaldehyde-free - which is key since I'm super sensitive to certain chemicals. I had tried a toning product before that had Keratin and got so sick because it contains Formaldehyde so now I know to steer clear of those ingredients!

I wanted to get rid of yellow not cover it on my white hair. The only thing that works for me is ion crystal clarifying treatments from Sally’s beauty supply. It removes mineral and styling build up one hair. I use two packs whenever it starts looking yellow

Yes, I'd like to see a video on the purple shampoos. I just bought some last week and used it and it helped take out some of the yellow, but it did make my hair dryer, which I hate! And that was after deep conditioning it, too! I only wash my hair once a week because my naturally curly (2b-3a) hair is already dry and tends to frizz. I'm going to use the purple shampoo again tomorrow along with a peroxide, water and conditioner mix I found on line, but maybe I shouldn't use the purple shampoo after all as the combo may be too drying, and I leave that peroxide mix on for 40-45 minutes (like I used to with color). One of the problems I have with the purple shampoos is that most have propylene glycol in them which I react to with horrible itching! So I have to stay away from that in ALL products. Being naturally curly also poses other issues as far as ingredients go. ugh So much to deal with with all this! Anyway, will look to see if you did make a vid about the purple shampoos and see if you've got one without the p.g. Thanks!

Maryam , please try the Keracolor Clenditioners in Silver, Blue Silver, and Platinum. Ive tried the silver and blue silver, my hair picked up blue but people seem to like it, as I receive nice comments. I am curious about the platinum though. Than you.

I have naturally light blonde hair with mousy gray, so I started using demi color to match my blonde. I have 2 perms in 1 month because the first 1 didn’t take for some reason. My hair is now dandelion yellow. It is a natural very light blonde turning gray. Read lemon juice removes yellow. Used 1/2 bottle. My hair is better but still very yellow. Used purple shampoo and conditioner and my hair ( before perms) built up purple Thanks for the help

Hey home girl, I raised a son in Canyon Country..a fun do it yourself shampoo, conditioner or curl creme...I add Genitian violet drops to all products and have even toned my hair with 10 volume.It costs under 5.00 on Amazon or in the bodegas, corner mercados. Makes Gallons !

I heard baking soda 2-3 tablespoon 1 cup of water add to fav 25 oz bottle of shampoo 3/4 full to add .. Haven't tried yet

I found that purple shampoo dries & frizzes my hair. It also removes the natural shine…

Have you tried Keracolor Clenditioner in Platinum? They also have Silver but it’s dark like purple charcoal. It leaves hair very soft and silky and enhances gray/silver hair, probably white hair too, Idk. my hair is normal not dry so if your hair is dry I think you will like it. It’s not permanent. I think it’s for people that color their hair gray to keep it up. They also make other colors as well. I buy it at Ulta.

Thanks! Very informative. I have gray, very thick, A LOT of untamed mostly straight hair. I usually have to wear it in a braid or ponytail or I look like a lion. Is there a straightening process you would recommend for such a condition? Say like Japanese Chi or Keratine treatments? I'd appreciate your opinion.

I tried Keratine treatment years ago by a hair stylist. It was very frizz free and tame but I didn't like that it made my hair too flat. I know some people really like the treatment, it depends on how straight you like your hair. I personally like extra volume and the option of wearing my hair curly. Hope this helps 🙂💜
