I really like this plan. With only one change, With grandkids, I would have the cook top along the wall instead of in the island.!!!!

You are becoming an intuitive designer that understands now, how the pieces of this home fit together.....you delivered a well planned and homey atmosphere with the layout, while being practical with the flow and functionality of each room. And I enjoyed the use of the natural colors. Excellent!!! and a joy for me to see!!

👍👍👏✅💯. Love the layout of the design. Plenty of natural light. No long hallways. A real laundry/mudroom. The only thing is the kitchen lacks a range hood over the countertop stove...it a very real necessity in any home.

I agree with a previous comment, cooktop needs to be near the wall. I would have a walkin shower with seating and no pool. But overall, this is such a cute house.

I must confess that is my favorite plan , of the previous houses I have seen from you. Except for the kitchen layout. 💜🏠

It's a nice home. The exterior design is very cohesive. I think the lamp on the side might be a little large, it may make more sense to use a smaller lamp here. I wonder how the living room interior design could be improved with the large entrance there. You open the doors, and there is the couch. The main way I could think to avoid this is removing the fireplace. This would be a bit sad considering how well the design of the chimney is on the gable wall, but it allows for more flexibility for such a small space. This home is small, so the 2 bedrooms don't have a lot of room. Thinking about living in this home with two people, there really isn't anywhere to do indoor activities. The entire design is consumed with sleeping areas, sitting areas, a kitchen, bath, and laundry hall. I think a possibility could be a loft above the two bedrooms as that's also a gable roof. Designing a way to get up there would be a challenge. I would imagine a ladder would be the only thing to fit without sacrificing space elsewhere, or a staircase leading into the kitchen with the entry into the bath pushed back and layout inverted.

So nice. Elegant is right. Replace the bedroom windows with narrow French doors (kinda European) so there's access to the pool. and for lord's sake cover that patio! I'd burn to a crisp.

Very nice remove lamps in front of the livingroom windows, distracting. The light overhead is gorgeous and a definite statement piece. I would have rotated the bedrooms and put the bathroom in between the two, a Jack and Jill bathroom saves money.

I always love this style. We have an older home nearby which is similar but has a cat slide roof over the doorway. We had a friend visiting and I saw his head turn and look as we passed by.

No house should ever be considered unless it has 2 or more bathrooms.

Depends where you live, complexity of construction and material choices. On average I would say 150 to 250 per square foot for a 2 by stick framed home. This looks like a 600-800 square foot so not cheap. Most of the cost is in the labor. In my market such a home would be a minimum of $450k to get a builder to make it due to the cost of labor and added regulatory burden, but the material costs would be in the $100k range.

Where is the garage? Closet space is negligible! This won't be good in America.

entry way doesn't make sense. Don't want to walk into the back of a couch immediately upon entering the home. Otherwise love it.

Odd having exterior door handles on the bedroom doors and no closets in bedrooms. Charming exterior but don't care for anything else.

NO driveway, no garage or carport, nothing? Nice small home but get real!

Do you, as a designer, EVER give any thought to how water moves? It appears not because you have two roof sections draining into one another, which is begging for leaks. Poor design. Walk through the front door and into the back of a couch. Very welcoming. Not! There is no proper entrance in which to transition from outdoor to indoor wear. Bad design again. Even if not snow, everywhere, even Death Valley, get some rain. For heaven's sake STOP with the separate ivens and hobs. One good built in oven is more expensive than a good range cooker with two ovens. Wall ovens are also not space efficient, and this kitchen is barely adequate for floor space as is

Several designs from this designer including this one have two connected gable roofs with a valley between. This is a horrible design that can lead to roof collapse from snow buildup.
