The worst part while you’re fasting and listening with all your senses to Shaikh Hamza then out of the blue some annoying ad starts. Kinda wake you up to the real world. I don’t think it’s ethical to monetize spirituality you do your work and Allah will chose how to reward you, but hey who really cares nowadays.

Listen, Allah is the judge, but for me spirituality and faith is a serious side of my life and it has to be fine and virtuous. However, virtues are spectrum and some people vary on that scale and of course that’s all part of Allah creation that we don’t know why or at least to be humble and acknowledge the limit of our intellect to explain everything, Hamza Yusuf once said the theory of everything is God, so I apologize for my comment and Astagvirullah maybe due to fasting I lost my temper and wrote my comment.

I don’t think Humble Believer has the Sheikh’s permission to play these clips. HB used to only show ads for non-profits, but now it looks like they shifted to for-profit (in addition to an overall greater number of ads). I appreciate the videos nonetheless, but would recommend switching over to Zaytuna College’s channel.

These are human truths, it’s irrelevant whether you believe or not.

This sick Sufi idea that patience means being docile is destructive. Yes if you're oppressed be patient. Accept that it's from Allah. Change yourself for the better. But also fight back when it's constructive to do so. In surat Asshura, Allah describes the believers as those who "when they get angry they forgive". After that Allah describes them as those who "when get oppressed they fight back/prevail/overcome".
