Some friends of mine told me not to follow Shyekh Hamza Yusuf. People say he is on wrong path. He is Sufi etc etc. But Wallai I don't worship this Sheikh but I adore what Allah has taught him. I believe there is always something to learn from people who has dedicated their life to understand Allah Subhanallah. I feel he is the spirit of Islam while the more strict kind of shyekhs are preserving the ways of the prophets for the next generation to pass it on as it is. They are all are worshipping Allah. Subhanallah. We need to learn from every scholars of Islam. Accept what is beautiful and reject what does not feel right to most of us. Allah knows the best !

Don't listen those people who told you that I was in the same boat and many more. Those are the one who divide Muslims telling them do not listen him or other western sheiks they labeling them as bidah or Sufi etc if is not the same way they think Islam should be they are very negative for the heart and soul.

Sheikh Hamza Yusuf brings a sophisticated and deep understanding of Islam to his lectures. This latest one is an excellent example. Most of us just routinely go through the motions of prayer without reflecting on the meaning and symbolism of the movements / positions. May Allah SWT bless him and his family with Afiyah and Firdaus.

Muhammad Qasim shared his dreams about warning of future events with Government officials, and Muslim scholars, but not many paid attention. Then after a terrorist attack in 2014, Prophet Muhammad SAW came in his dream twice asking him to share his dreams with the world. When Qasim was sharing his dreams on Facebook, he faced scrutiny, and one day he decided that he will delete all social media accounts. Then same night, Prophet Muhammad SAW came to his dream and advised him not to despair in Mercy of Allah SWT. #MuhammadQasimDreams

The Secrets Behind Praying On Time The transitions of prayer times actually coincide with the change in energy of the universe which may be measured and felt through changes in its colours. The following are several findings from academics in their respective fields (eg. health, psychology and others). 1.) FAJR (Before Sunrise) Those who are still deep asleep during Fajr will face issues in provision and communication, for the thyroid is unable to absorb the blue energy of the universe. The universe is in the blue spectrum which is compatible with the frequency of the thyroid gland. In Physiology, the thyroid has control over the body’s metabolic system. The color blue is also tied to provision (rizq) and communication methods. During the Fajr athan, the energy of the universe is at its optimum. This energy is then absorbed by our bodies especially when performing ruku’ and sujood. 2.) DHUHR (After Midday) Those who frequently miss Dhuhr prayer will face digestion and mood problems. The universe turns yellow, which influences the stomach and the entire digestive system. This colour also affects the liver and the cheerfulness of a person. 3.) ASR (Late Afternoon) One who keeps missing Asr prayer will have lower levels of creativity. The universe changes colour again into orange. This is significant in the influence upon organs such as the prostate, ovary and testicle which are parts of the overall reproductive system. In fact, the reproductive organs lose positive energy. The orange in the universe also affects one’s creativity. 4.) Maghrib (After Sunset) At the time of Maghrib, the spectrum of the universe is at level with the frequency of the Jinns and Iblees. The universe changes red. Often we hear the elders’ advice not to be outside of the house during this time. There is truth to the prohibition, for the jinns and iblees are energetic as they vibrate with the universe. Those who are traveling are recommended to stop over to pray Maghrib first. This is safer for there are many disturbances occurring. There may be interference of two or more waves with similar frequencies, producing mirages that may disrupt our vision. 5.) Isha (Evening) Those who often miss Isha prayers will tend to feel anxious. The universe becomes indigo and then transforms into darkness. The time of Isha has the secret of tranquility and contentment, and its frequency is harmonious with the brain and nervous system. This is why when the skies become dark, we are recommended to rest. By sleeping during this time, the consciousness is at a delta wave with frequency under 4Hz and the whole body system is under rest. 6.) Tahajjud (After Midnight) When performed routinely, there would be benefits psychologically and mentally. After midnight, the universe begins to brighten again with whites, pinks and purples. This colour change is in alignment with the pineal gland, pituitary gland, thalamus and hypothalamus (glands and organs that significantly affect the brain). The factors of the energy of the universe are the basis of meditative activities such as taichi, qi-gong and others. These are done to take in the energies into the body. So when praying, we inadvertently absorb the energy from the universe. Hence we can see that the Salaah ( Prayer) is both MEDITATIVE and THERAPEUTIC!!!!! PRAYING ON TIME WILL MAKE THE BODY HEALTHIER!

Firstly from a Quranic perspective and after all, the ONLY reason why we are Muslim is because of the Quran!! All else are secondary and tertiary man-made sources. First point, Quran does not give us a verse that uses the Arabic word " Imadil" or Pillar! The so called Pillars of Islam are a man-made concoction. Secondly the Arabic word " SALAT" does not mean pray/ prayer. We Muslims have been duped and misled. Nowhere in the Quran will you find and statement that says that by praying, we can get into Jannah. The term aqeemu-salat always gets translated as Establish prayer. Were not the people already praying? Was Rasool sent so as to make sure everyone prayed? The word " establish" comes from ESTABLISHMENT! It is an institution, a Government, a Government with Rules and Laws given to us in the Quran and that are given to us by the jurists and learned men, in accordance with Quranic principles. Prophet Muhammed was sent to ESTABLISH THE DIVINE SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT THAT ALLAH HAS INSTRUCTED SO THAT EVERY HUMAN BEING CAN BE PROTECTED AND CAN ATTAIN A GREATER POSITION IN THEIR LIFE. BETTER THEIR LIVES. What a disaster that we are now concentrated on prayer yet nowhere on earth is there a country that truly has this system of governance. Ponder this verse from the Quran: " The birds with their wings outspread, know their salat." Please dont tell me that the birds know how to pray too!! Don't make a mockery of the words of the Quran. We have relegated Islam to a religion, a mazhab. Yet nowhere in the Quran will you find Islam being called a Mazhab/ Madhab. Instead it is a DEEN. Please go and research the difference.

How do you define the labels: “life” and “death”? And it would be very useful to define the identity label “I”! Looking forward to read your clarifying mssg.
