Hello, i need help! I have a GEEK 1S - 32gb - 4TB 7500mb/s They stucks on boot, and have a blue screen but, if i press power + volume - + Rc, the ayaneo starts normally. Perhaps, i cant trade the RGB color and put the AYANEO in idle with the power button. Help pls

I get "error" when I try to change the vram size

I have 32gb of ram, my Kun lets me select up to 14gb. I've only seen a couple vidoes going up to 6 or 8gb. Any suggestions on how much I should use to find the sweet spot without hindering ram performance, or can I just max it out at 14? Not too savvy in this area so I wasn't sure how much vram for the Ayaneo Kun is needed. Thanks for any help!!

I recently received the Aya Neo Geek and, I was wondering, if you have played Dead Rising 4, what settings did you use? If not, have you played other Dead Rising games?

Thank your for the post and positive feedback! It depends on if you prefer to have that versatility to adjust VRAM to optimize performance per game as some games can demand for more or less. Do note that the order you may want to go in is to do the VRAM bios update first and then the bios update for the speed upgrade on the memory. The documentation from Ayaneo did not indicate this. Stay with the channel for more videos like these. A friend of the channel - another channel, WinDeck Tech - made this discovery.

@Gaming_for_insight thanks for the quick reply and channel recommendation! I just did the heat dissipation "upgrade" last weekend after scouring the internet for pros and cons. I've had some battery heat issues I had to address after that, but now that that's (hopefully) resolved, I'm trying to make sure I'm not taking too many unnecessary risks.

I had the ayaspace update and I didn’t updated the bios… and I can change the vram. I don’t understand the purpose of the bios update.

I am not able to account for how that is the case. If you have a newer device (recently received) perhaps the process I ran on my Ayaneo 2S was already done for your Ayaneo.

Did you review sound settings in Windows to rule out any changes that may have occurred even though it’s not expected? I've unfortunately run into a lot of problems, BIOS update went fine, but I'm stuck on 4GB VRAM (it dropped me down from 6GB), no matter what I select in AYASpace 2, it's stuck on 4GB now. Currently trying to do an update of the AMD driver, but it keeps erroring out during setup. Another thing I noticed is that task manager lists my memory as being 6400mhz, so it seems to have undone the 7500mhz update. EDIT: The BIOS marked as 'adjust video memory BIOS' for the GEEK 1S absolutely doesn't want to work correctly for me, it downgrades me to 4GB VRAM @ 6400mhz regardless of what you set in AYASpace 2. I redownloaded and installed the latest 7500mhz bios update, and that one seems to run at both 7500mhz AND allows me to change the VRAM allocation (which I've set to 10GB now). So I think there's something wrong with the other BIOS update for the GEEK 1S.

Thanks for the details in your post. The 2S update did result in dropping the memory speed to 6400MHz as well on my Ayaneo 2S. I am not able to account for why the other bios update includes both features for you. Stay with the channel for more videos like these.

@@Gaming_for_insight I have a theory that they updated both BIOS's but since there's almost no info about this update (at least, not that I know of) it might just not be as public knowledge. Either way, I suspect the GEEK 1S adjust memory BIOS might be busted, or at least I never got the normal version working, only the 7500mhz BIOS, which, as mentioned, seems to support VRAM allocation anyway.

Different games may have a better experience as far as performance with more allocated VRAM depending on the total memory on the device. I look at each game’s specifications to determine whether more or less VRAM allocated is appropriate.

Ayaneo provides a short description for what file corresponds to what device or devices so do please pay attention to that on the driver download page. You will need to check your handhelds’s hardware too so to understand compatibility, specifically what API the device has.
