oh hahaha no he’s not, sorry, ok so Louis Theroux basically is a british guy who’s been doing documentaries for the BBC for years, he often goes to places with people with extreme views or ways of living and interviews them and tries to film what their life is like. Bc of this he’s met some quite volatile people (Nazis, Westboro Baptists, etc.) who don’t take kindly to being asked questions and either try to not answer him or even just straight up get ragingly angry or kick him out, he ofc never really reacts to this and is quite calm and maintains eye contact throughout these confrontations (and that’s what the song is referencing)

I can't recommend enough his trilogy on the westboror baptists especially, it's really interesting

…I’m gonna be honest, it’s a huge stretch with no evidence, but I’m gonna assume this comment is the reason the album version has more instances of it

I enjoy the subtle detail of how near the beggining of the song Louis speaks in yellow however near the end he speaks in white just like every other character, showing how Louis has taken over everything and everyone.

This banger prompted me to jump down a Louis Theroux rabbit hole. Two observations: 1- you nailed Louis Theroux. 2- Louis Theroux is the greatest living human.

I genuinely keep finding myself coming back to this song every day and listening on repeat. I am Louis. We are Louis. You can do it. Just get Louie.

“I was beginning to feel *OMNIPOTENT*” This is a true thing of beauty. I’ll always be in awe of your ability to take half-remembered dreams that send us screaming into wakefulness at 3am and turn them into absolute bops

You should watch some of his stuff he’s a really good journalist, he has the ability to ask some pretty blunt questions to a violent nutcase but because he’s not at all threatening (despite being taller than most people around him) he somehow gets away with it.

oh my gosh, this is like standing too close to the platform edge when the intercity screams past, and in every carriage window we catch glimpses of Mr Theroux fixing a gaze into our souls, I love it.

honestly staring at people blankly has been working fantastic.

the more I watch this the more I appreciate the little nuances and details. for example Tom's monologue is in white while Louis' in yellow pretty much the entire song, until Louis completely takes over Tom's body and becomes Omnipotent (3:03), his monolgue is now in white, indicating he had successfully become one with Tom.

This man's physical performances in his videos is impeccable. I love the wild turns and niche content we get. Go on Immortal Louis Theroux

Ok, first things first, this is a straight masterpiece. I've seen many of Tom's videos and being a true fan of the bizarre, obviously, I've seen some greatness here, but sir, this is it. You might be a comedic / and now marketing for any real fan to immediately have to look up this documentary. Good job man.

the day after i first heard this, i went and watched a louis theroux documentary, specifically the one where he hangs out with the westboro baptist church. he really does sound like that, and he does the stare thing too.

2:22 makes it seem like Louis was purpose built in a test tube and became an out of control living weapon, like Shadow the Hedgehog or something
