Regarding fried green tomatoes… In the book they are clearly two people but in the movie it’s really up to interpretation. Idgy loved to tell tall tales so it’s quite possible she just made it up. And, there is the fact that she was 80 years old. Great video. 🦋

I love it when my hair is freshly washed. The best feeling. 😊 The lemonade/sprite drink sounds good. I'm not a plain water drinker either unless I'm really thirsty in Summer or for some reason I can drink it at night lol. Otherwise, I add water flavoring. Aw, I'm glad you took in sweet Ellie and gave her a loving home.

I didn't know you had another dog. She's so cute and loved her story that she has such a good home now. I enjoyed this video so much. A little bit of everything. We went shopping, did a walmart pick up, love good ole walmart, cooked, did make-up took the garbage to the road, cleaned a little. Fried Green Tomatoes is my favorite movie and my favorite book. I love all of Fannie Flagg's books. A lot of her books are set around the area where I was born and lived most of my life in Alabama. My dad delivered furniture to her house in Fairhope one day, but she wasn't there while he was there. I remember seeing an interview where she addressed the Ninny issue. They wanted to do a few things differently in the movie from the book. Ninny is definitely Idgie's sister-in-law in the book.

My mom used to make us baked spaghetti as well for dinner when we were growing up. I never really heard of anyone else’s family eating it that way, so I just wonder if that’s a southern thing because her parents were from Mississippi and Kent, Kentucky and maybe they made it that way back there (we grew up in California). I have a suggestion. What if you find a nice side board table (maybe even find 2 and slide them together) for the long wall in your dining room area and on top make it a cute coffee station with open shelves above. That way you can keep all of your coffee makers together along with all things coffee. Plus the side board will allow for extra hidden storage. And it’ll fill in your dinning space as well. Just a thought.

@@KellysKorner08 plus, it’ll open up that counter space by your stove for extra prep space if you do the coffee bar station. Loving this idea! I bought 2 sideboard tables for our boys’ living room and pushed them together and it really does elevate the space and add so much functionality to the room.

I live in N FL and my Walmart had egg coloring kits. They actually had different kinds. They were mixed in where the Easter stuff is. If you can't find any then dye the eggs the old fashioned way with food coloring dye. Growing up that's all we had.
