It got a better response, I shouldve kept it up 😂
I have hacked my T-Mobile gateway to add an external 4x4 MIMO antenna (in Puna). Still $30/month after the investment in the antenna.

Nice, I'm learning about all sorts of new hacks since I put this video out
You can do something like this yourself through a company called mofi for a router that accepts a SIM card and then use a company like visible who uses Verizon cell phone tower. And get the same set up for about 40 to 50 bucks a month just takes a little ingenuity.

ThNks for the tip
Is the router mobile.. useful in an RV while moving the country or do you have to be stationary? Thank you

It is mobile, that's one of the cool things about it. You can have wifi while camping
AWESOME
Hey bud, had a question on anotger topic. I know we can have composting toilets, but what do i do for grey water in case mr. Inspector man shows up.
@HomesteadinHawaii
Жыл бұрын
Ah greywater and the inspector. While the law is in favor of the homeowner who cannot access the municipal sewer system, the interpretation of the law by the inspector is a different story. They might work with you or may say get a septic. Best thing I could think of is follow the regulations CA has put in place for greywater, because it's legal out there and you could point to precedence, only thing is, kitchen sink water is considered blackwater and it should be disposed of in a septic, (or Biogas Digestor.)

@@HomesteadinHawaii Oh, so you can put the sink water in the Bio Digestor. Good to know. So my place out there is pretty far back in Orchad lands, where it becomes dirt road and nothing but trees, not a lot of people. So I'm kinda hopping I'm off the radar back there. Anyway, thanks for the info, I've been stressing over that one.

Thank you for all the advice. You've helped me out a ton. Starting operations out there in January. Can't wait.
verizon hotspot has unlimited and it works great for regular normal use. they claim throttle over 50 or 100 gb or something like that but i’ve never observed it. just regular unlimited top tier verizon cell plan.

Sounds like the plans are getting more competitive
That cellular internet is way overpriced. I have all three, cellular booster, cellular 4G modem, and Starlink. I didn't upload the Starlink video's as pretty much everyone covered it, but I do have the cell booster and 4G modem option available.

Yeah, I’d lean more towards starlink, depending on your situation
