when creating photos, i have always found that the more simple i keep it with external lighting, the better my photos come out. i also like that i feel better when i am finished. i have used over 6 lights to create photos, but in the end; i am so frustrated and i am ready to just end the shoot. keep it simple, it works.

Nice stuff, thanks for sharing. I do use hair light to separate the back ground and gives 3rd dimensions my perspective do.

Don't see the point of it, you're better off with the diffusion dome. Whole point of soft boxes is to be big enough for the light to bounce inside of it

Lots of people complaining about the battery handle on the x100, seems to die easy / short lifespan.

? I shoot weddings, as some events I need a splash of light on the couple or speech giver. Could 2 of the 60w handle this with the mini soft boxes ( I assuming 9 to 10 feet away). I already have 2 high capacity 100w PD so the power on the 100w is not a thing for me… but more so if the 60w could do the job as I travel with 2 bags only 5 Bodies, 3 compact Tripods and weight is everything.

Holaaaa! You’re most welcome! I’m so happy to know that you like my videos! ❤️ It’s great that you’re going to practise. It’s definitely the best way to learn. 😊 For sunny days, try to don’t overexpose the images. Shooting at a high shutter speed, increasing that depth of field when needed and avoid shooting when there are harsh shadows on your subject. It’s one of the most challenging lighting situations. 😄❤️ Good luck!
