Get Better Aim in Tarkov! - Escape From Tarkov Guide
Ойындар
One of the most crucial elements of success in FPS games is having good aim. In EFT though, aim can be a little complicated. So, I threw together this video to hopefully make all aspects of aim a bit more understandable.
0:00 - Intro
0:26 - Sensitivity Matching
2:11 - ADS Sensitivity
4:00 - Recoil
5:07 - Point Firing
6:13 - Weapon Sway

Suprised at how much I actually learned in this video. Youre one of the best EFT content creators and its not even close

Great video with helpful tips and great editing. Also 3:48 was clean as hell.
absolute banger of a video brother. keep it up man! l do really love and appreciate the hard work you put into these.
This is JACKPOT of a video to anybody picking up EFT/PC gaming. Phenomenal advice. A someone with 6k hours in CS, and thousands in other competitive, ALL these tips are what I wish someone told me at the beginning of my PC gaming journey. Consistency is key, find a warmup routine on Kovaak/AimLabs and practice everyday before gaming keeping the same sens across all games.
JonnyB needs like 100x the subscribers lol. Killer video on aiming; one of the best I've watched!!!
New to this game, and ive really, REALLY been struggling in gun fights.

Using AimLab to speedrun different aim scenarios also helps a lot. You don't get to flick in every raid but you need to be able to do it reliably when the situation happens.

Exactly, and aim lab is a great tool. I've used it a fair bit, but I'm a kovaaks boy at heart 🙂

Would you consider making a video explaining your thought process during a live raid or a replay? For example going into Labs and showing what events during the raid you find interesting and how you would approach or avoid certain situations. For someone like me - a semi-new Tarkov player that would be very interesting as we cannot often pick up on all the little things experienced players do to survive the raid.

Yeah I'd love to do that. I've thought about this for a while and just haven't made it a priority yet. But I definitely should!

You can't rely on sound, but you should react to sound in raids. Aim where someone could be holding or looting, be wary of right hand peeks while also knowing the degree you can peek corners. The new wipe will change recoil so might be a good time to jump back in
Great video once again! Love it!
great vid as usual !
We Love Jonny !!!!!
I appreciate the guide bro very nice
Another certified banger!
Great stuff!
Great video
OOOHHH YAAA JONNY SO GOOD YAA
Good stuff
Hello 👋 what fov do you use / recommend and why ? Thanks in advance
yo just stoppin by to wish y a BEAUTIFUL day!
is the slow turning/spongy aiming just a thing to live with or something i can do against?
3:41 How did the enemy get up there?

You jump from top of King stairs onto the generator thing in the middle of the room, then up onto the door
As a console player I love EFT but I suck on M&K and my aim is horrible on mouse 😂

Just keep practicing, you'll improve! It takes a long time to get the hang of it
still hard to control the weapon sway from csgo and apex player, when I change the strafing direction I miss all my shot....

Just wait for the recoil rework coming with wipe, everything should feel a lot like other fps games
You should check out DesmondPilak's aim training video, the updated shooting range makes practicing tracking and flicks super easy

How are you zooming in on your red dot
@JonnyBooSock
Жыл бұрын
The zoom is just editing to make it easier to see what I'm shooting at. Tarkov footage can be hard to look at on mobile.
for everyone who wants to dive deeper into aim training i'd suggest checking out the voltaic aim disord or revosect or both they have a ton of great resources and even benchmarks and a ranking system revosect only offers aimlabs benchmarks while voltaic has resources for both aimlabs aswell as kovaaks

Voltaic is what I use 🙂
What dpi do you use or recommend?
@JonnyBooSock
Жыл бұрын
I use 500 DPI. Realistically, it doesn't matter what you use, just never change it. Most people have somewhere between 400 and 1800. I like a low DPI because then changes in in game sensitivity (for any game) are more subtle per sensitivity increment, whereas a high dpi (2500 or something) will make subtle in game sensitivity adjustments feel like a huge jump
How do you actually find your starting sensitivity your new to pc and dont play anything else though?
@JonnyBooSock
Жыл бұрын
It's all preference. A good rule of thumb is your mouse pad space should allow you to do a 360, and then adjust it from there to what works with your brain. But once you decide, don't change it

@@JonnyBooSock so I should be able to do a 360 with the mousepad space that I use?

Whole mouse pad as a starting point, then raise or lower as needed.
What if you consistently suck at aiming in every game? 😭

Oooo overwatch!!!
I'd like to add, copying sens across game isn't really a good idea. Use a sens depending on what's comfortable, and the type of movement the game requires. The idea behind "muscle memory" is a meme.
Aiming has nothing to do with muscle memory
