While most of my videos are focused on solo gameplay for Escape FromTarkov, I finally decided to get one out with some instruction on better team play. For beginners and advanced players alike, this should hopefully be useful to help you become a better teammate in each of your raids.

Can't forget the uber tactical "IN THE TREES" callout on Woods when it gets crazy

If you play long enough with one person you can even understand those “over there” callouts and because you are accustomed to their playstyle and action you can make quick strategic plays without discussing much

Great advice, nice vid man. Unorganized teams are some of the easiest people to take out in tarkov, this provides some great insight on how to get better as a team!

Incredible guide (sherpa man is here again), i think that your content is really overlooked by tarkov community. From my 6k playtime perspective things that you say are very adequate and useful. Still waiting for part 3 of labs guide

Until watching this video I didn't realize just how much of this I deal with when playing with my duo. The worst though is the call outs so might really have to try the streaming on discord. The call outs I usually get from him are along the lines of "I see someone" followed up by me asking where and getting no response as they start to engage. Or they change positions without communicating it so always end up hesitating to shoot immediately and have to ask their location.

Battle comms. Be less chatty in raid. Audio is super important in Tarkov. Don't rage when you die. Super hard to focus with a raging teammate. Don't pressure your teammates about your gear. They will usually do their best.

Solid. Another one is going over items everyone needs pre-raid. Not necessarily being all crazy on the mic cause you found a saker suppressor. Like it’s nice and all - maybe if y’all are looting up in that situation it’s okay but looting is loud, we don’t need talking through it cause it delays recognition of enemies moving in

Valid and useful points presented in this video. I would like to add actual CQB or military training/lectures and learning principles based in irl warfare can translate to playing Tarkov.

great video bro! can you please make a video how to spot where shots are coming from, like in a more open area of maps like shoreline and woods. thanks in advance!

To the point of better call outs, we have one on customs that literally would make zero sense to anyone else, but it’s just what we call it 😂 so yeah it doesn’t even have to make sense, as long as it’s agreed upon and utilized

No one uses the compass. If someone says “North” I’m going based on the orientation of the map on the common map sites. Even if that’s south on the in game compass

That'll cause problems if you're not utilizing the same maps as your teammates. In which cause you'll have to compare which maps you're using. And if you're taking the time to do that.. why not just learn the real directions that the game set?

"when you die, try to provide information about the enemy, their number, positions, ur dmg to them, etc" me: does that, then opens their profile and tells my teammate everything about them. helmet? second gun? pistol? type of armor? side plates possible? sus cheater stats? new little timmy got the drop on me? experienced player but low K/D? the whole shebang, I stalk my killers profile for my friend for max advantage during my avenging.

Haha profile doesn't tell enough info to help in the fight. Moreso how the individual was playing, their location, what type of weapon did you die to, their favorite food, etc.

First tip: Screen Sharing is NOT a good way to be a team mate. It inevitably leads to call outs like "He's over there!" "Guys There!" and "I'm right Here!" In my experience, people that screen share are the WORST team mates to play with, and I actively avoid playing with them. If you want to be good at communicating with your team, you need to stop screen sharing. The only time I screen share is when someone dies and wants to watch how the rest of the raid goes.

I'd have to disagree. It's not there to rely on, it's to be an extra layer of visibility to retain focus and prevent unnecessary communication during downtime. You're entitled to your own opinion though, of course. Also, I feel as if you may have commented preemptively, as I have an entire section of the video focused on proper callouts, and why you should not be communicating in the ways you listed. Ty for watching though

Nah my squad screen shares and it has really elevated our teamwork ability, the amount of times it has saved our asses we don’t play without it lol. And we are all good solo players it just isn’t fair to not be screen sharing as a squad facing one that is

My squad screen shares and in general its good to just have an eye on what your squad mates are up to... If they have bad call outs then they're either inexperienced, or you guys dont have much chemistry or time together making your own call outs Although i do sometimes freak out when im being shot and suddenly every possible call out name becomes FFFFUUYYYYYCKKK

This sounds like shitty teammates, not screen share being shitty. Even with shitty teammates and bad calls, I'd rather have bad calls and a screen share than just bad calls. Bad calls + screen share means I just look at their stream when they make a callout to see what they mean.

  • @TheAbyrr

I completely disagree. I can often look at a teammates screen and tell him left right center based on his pov much quicker than trying to get his exact position, orient myself to that and recall what he may be seeing… then make a call out.
