Thank you for this video, it was so informational and detailed. I am a mother of 4 children and unfortunately I had to have a party hysterectomy because of complications with my placenta. Nonetheless I wanted to have 6 children in total. I re-married and my husband doesn't have children so we want to have our own. I am currently going thru IVF and embryo freezing is next. I just wanted to say THANK YOU because its people like you that help me be at ease with this process of gestational surrogacy. In my case of having already had children, many of my family members especially call me crazy because I want more children. Also their are some that say its "selfish" to want more because I already had. My response: I LOVE my children, love being a mother and I want to have more children. Not to make this so long, but again thank you! Love these videos please do more!

I have started to lean towards surrogacy for my baby. I and my DH had been TTC for 5 years. Having been through surrogacy for 5 years, I guess it is the time to do so. We are going to be using my eggs and DH’s sperm. However, we haven’t decided on the surrogate mother yet. My DH had been recommending a clinic called Biotexcom, if I am not mistaken. To brush up my knowledge on surrogacy, and learn more about it, I had been doing some exhaustive research online and offline. I mean, there are things I feel like I should do to prepare myself for it. However, I had been overwhelmed with the amount of info out there. Since I have viable eggs, I sure want to go with gestational surrogacy. I love when pros like you decide to share their first-hand experience. I will surely be rewatching the video again. I will also share it with my DH, just in case. Thanks for sharing it with us. I really appreciate it.

I’m going through the process of getting ready to be a surrogate and everything you have said is exactly how I feel. I could never be a traditional surrogate or egg donor but this is definitely what my heart is set on. I don’t feel I would get attached because I already have my babies and I’m going into it knowing it’s literally not my baby.

Thank you for sharing the information.I am so ready to choose the donor for the treatment as well. I think choosing an egg donor is indeed the most difficult part of the process. As a lot of clinics don't really give you the accurate information. The information is needed to decide which one you want to go for. However, the clinic by doing this is surely helping a lot of us out. This makes it so much easier and is accessible and through this, we can also ask for help from family and friends regarding the decision. This just makes the process a lot more accurate and valid. One of the real reasons why I opted for the clinic.

IM here. Thank you for pointing out how hard it is for IPs to give up control. I've heard too many times that women choose surrogacy because they don't want to ruin their body and that's the easy way out. I also appreciated the comment about giving back instead of away.

A highly informative video for those going for gestational surrogacy. It is explained so well that anyone can understand the process. I would especially recommend it for those who are seeking refuge from infertility and going for surrogacy. After watching the video and subscribing the channel it seems that nothing is difficult. Surrogacy like any other procedure has both pros and cons. Such videos bring forth the real picture. They clarify the ideas and remove the apprehensions.

By the way, thanks to your surrogate mothers like you a lot. I mean, you guys carry a baby no matter how tough it is, to give happiness to others. I guess that is just a selfless act at best. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. I loved how passionately you felt about helping your friend out. So happy to hear that she was able to carry the baby herself. Anyways, great to hear that you are doing it till this day. Gestational surrogacy is not always easy. However, great to hear that you just grin and bear it. I love when women can be this strong and do it for others. As for me, I am also starting with surrogate soon. Great to hear that you take on clients are examined in detail. The same happened to my friends at Biotexcom. I also how you click with the IPs. I hope to be matched with someone great like you. I guess chemistry is key between a surrogate and IPs. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I personally have a huge respect for the surrogate mothers. I think you all are playing a huge rule in making this world a better place to live. People like who are unable to conceive and are told they are infertile you give hope to them. I remember the first time I met my surrogate and how amazing she was. She understood us and how difficult it was for, as we had been trying for a lot of years now. Therefore, the clinic I chose I made sure they treated the surrogate nicely. I was happy to know that they were actually calling her for regular checkups and ensuring that her diet was good. I initially had been very scared about the whole process, however, once it started it had a lot more of positive vibes attached to it and everything seemed good. Best of luck with your surrogate mother journey.

Thanks Britt for the information. Gestational surrogacy is when a woman carries a baby to term for a couple. The gestational surrogate or carrier doesn’t donate her own egg. So she’s not biologically related to the child she carries. Rather, the egg and sperm come from the couple or from a donor egg and/or sperm. The surrogate then carries the baby until birth. She doesn't have any genetic ties to the child because it wasn't her egg that was used. A gestational surrogate is called the "birth mother." The biological mother, though, is still the woman whose egg was fertilized. Who Uses Surrogates? If you're a woman, you may consider a surrogate for several reasons. Medical problems with your uterus. You had a hysterectomy that removed your uterus. Conditions that make pregnancy impossible or risky for you, such as severe heart disease. You may want to think about surrogacy if you tried but couldn't get pregnant with a variety of assisted-reproduction techniques, such as IVF. I went through gestational surrogacy too in Bio tex clinic.

This was very much needed. Most people don't know about the gestational surrogacy process. They think surrogacy only involves a third person. Through surrogacy, one can have a baby genetically related to her. So surrogacy can help anyone to get out of infertility. Hope you'll get your desire soon!

This video is simply amazing and spellbinding. Surrogacy is all about you are selfless enough to make your body which makes a baby. The surrogates suffer nine months with morning sickness and swollen feet. The people who are not able to conceive babies prefer surrogacy. It is an amazing process in which the lucky woman who can conceive baby share their body with those who cannot conceive babies. I have gone through such process. I am thankful to those who gave me my own child. The clinic in Europe is the best clinic as I had heard its success stories from different people. would recommend the same clinic to all suggestion seeking couples.

My story is a lot like yours.. I started thinking about surrogacy at 12 after watching a few movies with it. I haven't been able to shake the idea. I started to think more about it after watching my childhood friend having fertility problems. Sadly they can't afford the fertility clinic.. But if they could I'd be a surrogate for them. I told my boyfriend about me wanting to do it after 2 weeks and he at first didn't want to talk about it.. Now after 2 years being together and having our own lil baby and me explaining how I feel it's calling me. There are so many people praying for babies and I know I can help a couple have one. Thank you for posting this!! I'm now in the process of becoming a independent surrogate for a sweet couple.

You spoke very well. Surrogate is not related to the child she is carrying, is the most common type of surrogacy today. While gestational surrogacy statistics are difficult to find, this path to parenthood has helped thousands of couples and individuals grow their families, and it is becoming increasingly common.

Thank you so much for this video! I'm currently going through the process of becoming a Surrogate and this was so informative! I was wondering though how your decided on your Surrogacy Agency? Did you look around a lot or did something stand out to you?

I’m a 3rd time Surrogate, so this is my 3rd journey and I get asked that question a lot! “Are you doing it for the money”? Or “How much money do you make”? I find that very rude but at the same time it’s because most ppl aren’t knowledgeable in the “Surrogacy “ world.

I lost my hope after recent hysterectomy. In fact it was several years ago but a horror of those days are still in my memory. We found our hope in Ukraine again. It was really a difficult decision to choose this country. My husband had too many doubts. So, We are ‘young’ parents of twins. nothing matters but this fact. Thank you Ukraine, thank you science and development of medicine. Particularly I’m thanking biotexcom’s staff which made my life full of pleasure

Hope all are doing good. Here I would like to share my experience. I cannot conceive naturally. We went for IVF. It was bad luck that IVF failed two times in my case. It made me too depressed. We are now thinking about the surrogacy. We are going for it next month. We are hoping for the positive. Wish us a best of luck.

Considering surrogacy and I feel the same as you. As a mom you’re not setting up a nursery or picking a name. You’re not preparing for a baby so I’m not as worried about the attachment. I wish other ppl could understand

I'm glad to see the video.I also ave some questions regarding surrogacy.Shortly my story is that we are from Japan where surrogacy is totally banned. Then we moved to europe. Here we didn't found any good clinic.Than we moved to Ukraine. There we found a very good clinic. The clinic arranged a surrogate for us.She is pregnant with our two daughters. But i have few questions.Like when babies are born who will hold the baby for the first time? Like when the baby group up what we should tell him/her about his/her birth? Like there will be change or not in our behaviour? Just curious about these questions.

Hi. This is an amazing video. I am liking it. I have faced infertility for so long. I wanted to be a mother. It was not in my fate. I decide to go for IVF. But I failed to conceive. In the end, I chose surrogacy. I have a baby now.

My wife and I will be looking into a gestational carrier and fertility clinic we were doing IVF but my wife had a brain clot and seizure due to the estrogen boosters so now they've told us her being pregnant would be too dangerous. We already have 4 embryos, the clinics I've called either don't do gestational carriers or they don't allow "outside embryos".

I am going to start the meds for my soon to be transfer! I was going to carry twins, but we decided to transfer just one this time since the parents are from France. With covid we are going to make it as safe as possible and twins would be a bit too scary at this time. We already waited a bit since as soon as we started the beginning processes, covid happened. We are finally going to do this after almost a year from when we started

Hello there. Infertility tests depend upon the cause of infertility. If you know the cause then do share. This will allow us to respond accordingly. If you don't then the first thing to do is figure out the cause. Blood tests, ultrasounds etc are the obvious ones.

One question Britt: A single male can just go there and pay for a woman that help him to get a baby, once baby was born he can return to USA with his son with no more relation with the rented mother? Something similar that what Michael Jackson did. Thank you.
