A gerund is like a noun, because a gerund also can be the name of an activity. ... So a Gerund is also called a “VERBAL NOUN”.

Mam as you said in the video, we place "tt" if there is a vowel before 't'. but in the case of "writing" why we did not use "tt" like "writing" here? I'll be very grateful of you. Thanks Mam

Because the sound is long vowel sound . If there is short vowel sounds then we need to double the final t

we do not double"w" or "y" at the end of words: play playing, draw-drawing snow-snowing we do not double the final letter when two vowels come direcly before it: remain-remaining sleep-sleeping is it clear? thanx 4 watching dear
