So sorry, I made a spelling mistake in my "venn diagrammar." It should be spelled "complEment," not "compliment." Thank you so much to a viewer for pointing out my mistake.

There is also another mistake the verb practice often followed by infinitive and bare infinitive. Example: she practiced to improve her skill. Practice makes man perfect

hi im from Indonesia, I loved the short scene where you combined suspense to show the English master kicking gerunds and infinitives. Thank you so much for sharing such useful grammar lists.
Dear Arnel, Having been an English teacher for over forty years, as you can imagine, I have been able to see how English Teaching has developed and the way some methodologies were dismissed because new and better ones appeared. Nowadays, technology makes it possible to reach teachers and students all over the world and that is one of the greatest things it has brought thanks to people like you. Finding your channel has really been like finding the treasure in a Treasure Hunt. I have been able to share your videos with my students and we have always enjoyed them and found them really useful. Your explanations are clear and the way you have structured each lesson is so much fun and interesting to watch. It's like my classes now have two teachers who love and enjoy what they do. You are a great teacher and I am happy and honored to have you as my special guest in my classes at every level. I particularly share your lessons with my upper intermediate and advanced students because I believe that having reached that far in their learning has meant a lot of effort, work and, why not, sometimes even disappointment. That is when you come with your enthusiasm, your knowledge and your professionalism to make them feel better again. So, I have to thank you for this. I decided to write to you because I really appreciate what you are doing and will always wish all the best for you. I can see you love teaching and you are doing an excellent job. A big hug from Lima, Peru, Cesar

Although these come quite intuitively to me it was always very hard to explain to a non-native speaker how they worked and differentiated from one another. Thanks a lot. That's a very neat explanation.

The lesson was helpful and very nice. I admire you for the work you invest for preparing these lessons. It is really great!
Thank you, Arnel for a beautifully orchestrated class!!
I regret not following you before. You made a great class for English beginners. Thanks a lot!
I think one of the most important points you tackled in this video was the lists of verbs which you sort them in words that may or not be followed by a gerund. It seems that in the fifht sheet the gerund form is used for an inconclusive lapse of time whereas the infinitive form trims their times I think. I don't know how to put them in words but I got the idea. New vocabulary: cranky P.D. I love you, you're my favorite teacher!
I've fallen in love with your way of teaching English. Thank you for your incredible efforts!😍
Funny fact: there is a word 'erunda' in Russian slang, meaning 'nonsense', 'absurd'. The origin of this word is 'gerund'. It was so hard and counterintuitive for Russian-spoken church students to get the concept of gerunds when they studied Latin (btw, gerunds came to English from Latin), so these students called anything absurd 'gerund'. :) PS Great lessons, Arnel. Helping me a lot in improving my English.
Besides the characteristics of adorable, I love your engaging teaching with some senses of humor and insight towards English, which inspires me to learn relentlessly.
Thank you so much, Arnel. I think you should create a pdf file about your lesson because someone prefers reading to watch and it looks like professional

This is so informative lesson. Thank you, Ms. Arnel.
Hi Arnel. How is everything? Well, I just want to say that you are the best teacher I've ever seen. And look, I follow many English teachers. All are good teachers, but you teach in a special way. It's like you have the gift for it. By the way, you have this gift, and I believe that God is using you to bless many people with your English classes. I am very grateful to you as I started to learn English "by myself" and from scratch. Soon, and with your classes, I'm already understanding a lot of texts and conversations in English a little better. You are a blessing, you can be sure! May God bless you greatly for all your work, dedication and willingness invested in each class you recorded. Thank you very much, you can be sure!

Hi! Please visit and share your feedback.
Thank you, Arnel for presenting such wonderfully designed lessons. I owe you a lot❤.
Thank you Arnel. I'm writing to tell you about my idea how to memorise the verbs (gerund group, and the "+to" group. So ine the geround group moste of the verbs have letter "i", so we can remember them like this: If a verb has got a letter "I" in spelling you use the gerund. Whereas the rest with "+to". Of course there are some exeptions. But you can only memorise these exeptions. It helps... It helped me...
Really it is a very interesting way of teaching on such a confusing topic. Looking forward to learning more from you.
I like how well this lesson is structured. Very useful for learning. This is the first video I watched from this channel and I will definitely watch more.

The best class about "ing", thank you.
My all doubts about infinitive and Gerund clear by this video 🎥 Mam Thank You For This 👍🏻
A well intended and exhaustive presentation. May be less could have served the same purpose. The examples have been really good. What would help, to advise students to concentrate on the circumstances, and not to try learn everything at once. Let them take tehir time and enjoy experiences along the road towards understanding. Paul, 67, retired teacher.
