That hole has water jacket behind it thats why the very top has a bolt and that vent goes to the top one from factory

Why didn't you just buy the little bit better motor mounts that you could slide it back against the motor against the firewall and you wouldn't have to cut the K member Or just buy build motormounts

We could have flipped the motor mounts and slid it back farther but then the heads would have been against the firewall, and we wanted it front far enough we could easily work on it
