Try to be 2 generation Irish in Canada and try to get Irish citizenship its almost impossible we have to prove where in Ireland our great grandfather and grandfather came from. You still may be turned down look it up. Im 74 now will never make it home even though i was born in Canada.

Yet here we are, 6 months from arriving and they have the right to vote and stand in all elections. They extended the age for free contraception instead , encouraging childlessness, us Irish had to have both partners working for years to even afford to buy a house first. Then save up for furniture, fees, pay the mortgage ,then if you are lucky enough by the time you do that ,to physically be able to have a baby , ,then have to straight away figure out how to pay mortgage ,childcare and everything else, BUT come on over kids in toe, get free house, no work ,enjoy the day in free house with family, than have more and more kids all paid for....why can' OUR government even do half that for her own people...
