When my wife and I have the chance to spend an evening relaxing Gerry Rafferty is our favourite artist we like to listen to.

One of the most romantic of songs ever written.

Gerry has a beautiful voice and has written, sung on and played guitar on some great songs. He first came to prominence in a band he formed called Stealers Wheel. They had a big hit in 73 with "Stuck In the Middle With You". Then he went solo and had numerous solo hits such as "Baker Street" and "Night Owl". I particularly like: "Get it Right Next Time." You two are are a joy!

Man does this bring back memories. Much simpler times with great music everywhere. God only knows how many couples connected and stay connected with this song. Rafferty had one of those voices that just soothed the soul. Poor guy fought a war with his demons and lost. Fortunately his music will be with us along long time. Rest In Peace Gerry Rafferty
