Joshua lost to Johann twice already. The Philippines' mixed Team (Johann was a team member) several years back beat Germany (where Joshua was a team member) in a semifinal match then went on to win the Mixed Team world championship. Most recently, Johann beat Joshua in the Spanish Open. Not easy to mentally get over 2 losses to the same guy.@@mehulkumar7821

I think this is the start of something new and beautiful! There is so much young talent in the Phillipines and they aren't as well known to the international stage like Aranas, Pagulayan, Bustamante, Biado, or Dennis Orcollo. No there are newer younger players that are playing perfect pool at home but don't have the money to travel. This is going to bring more tournaments to the Phillipines and allow some new talent to make their way up in the world rankings! Trust me, the world's best have to be afraid of this new younger generation emerging from the Phillipines. This is only the beginning.

That 7 ball pocketed by Johann Chua (30:08) in the 18th rack was the dagger in the heart. Congratulations Team Philippines for winning the championship for the 4th time.
