The issue with this is that you become responsible for their markets, which means that you have to produce every economic demands for them. This is a disadvantage because the subjects NEVER produce enough of anything and since you cannot build in their provinces you end up having to build every need without any support

Building your industry is still a pretty important part of the game, but I cut a lot of it out since it's repetitive. However, the situation has improved since release with the addition of private construction. So if you really hate having to manage industry you can just go on laisse-faire and let the capitalist do most of the building
