The breeds are alike in so many ways , yet so very different at the same time. Their biggest similarity to me is they share the look and demeanor of strength , very protective and Loyal. You come up with such wonderful video ideas. I really enjoyed this.

Wonderful video of Kiyew and the the German Shepherds. Hopeful Kiyew inherits her wolf side of her family. Our shepherd Mandy got hip dysplasia at 2 yrs old and I still miss her 45 years later. She saved me from drowning when I was just a kid. 💝🐶🐺

Czechs aren't known for having hip problems, so we hope she won't either....what a coincidence....our first dog (a mix dog) was also called Mandy. She was always by my side when I was little, just like yours, watching over me.🐺🐾🐶

As you said in video they are similar both also have different colors, backs, feet and toes, eyes. Character of both is similar, very intelligent. Shepherd is more obedient, more focused on their owner. Both are very playful and have great energy, love having fun. Czechs rarely bark, while shepherd barks a lot. Both have lazy moments and enjoy having family together. I loved watching adorable Fáelán and Kiyew. Sarahs dog is also beautiful. Thumbs up.

great collaberation to show the difference guys. I LOVE all the bigger dogs.. we used to have a shep/lab .. most BRILLIANT animal we've ever belonged to. miss her dearly..been 20 yrs.. not ready for another yet. LOL. i think your dogs look amazing. love spending time with them here.

I thought my czechy was a cross between a shepherd and coyote...but couldn’t explain why he was just as big as a shepherd and had long spindly close set legs. Prey drive. Perfect confirmation. Loving. Lives to snuggle and get attention and love. He does a little boogie when he gets exited. He’s such a happy (nosey) boy. Anything small that runs he’s interested In chasing it. We’re working on impulse control. He picked up his language buttons so fast. He’s the smartest most attentive dog I’ve ever seen. Perfectly housebroken. Once I saw the Czech wolfdog it made sense. Amber eyes. Energy for days. My dog is very shepherdy...except this is a shepherd mix with off the charts endurance. Like this animal has no quit. He can trot 7 miles and still come home to do the zoomies. Nose skills off the chart. Night vision. He notices things before I notice things in the middle of the night. Agility off the chart he can jump over guard rails like it’s nothing or scale a huge wall and LOVES TO JUMP and run. Everybody thinks he’s a husky cross....I let them think that. I’m scared they’ll think he’s a bad dog so I don’t tell many people what he is. Also, they carry their tail sometimes laterally with a small scoop up, huskies carry their tail up over their hiney. He’s protective over me but not unreasonably. He has a very regal look I couldn’t explain. People kept calling him a husky. I’ve had a husky before, I can see why they think that. Huskies don’t have this endurance and prey drive and need for work. He reminded me of Anubis a little bit. Zero dysplasia. I’m happy because his life span is longer and I won’t lose him for a long time. I want to do SAR (search and rescue) with him. He, naturally, is perfect for it. I was very blessed with my little beast. I love him with all my heart. Best choice I ever made.

Thanks for your comment Lauren, they are wonderful dogs, but certainly not for everyone.... Kiyew is also called husky a lot, think that's also because of Fáelán our other dog who is a husky, we don't mind either. I'm curious, so gonna have a look at your channel now!

Shepherds were my favorite dog breed until I met Kiyew. She has that face of a wolf and that is so majestic. Shepherds look like a dog, wolfdog, well, slightly wilder. 😺❤😊
